Viz Media staffer Ho Lin has confirmed in an official staff blog entry on Monday that Viz Media is planning to present new English-dubbed Naruto episodes. While acknowledging that America's Cartoon Network is not currently running new episodes of the Naruto ninja anime has it had in the past, Lin said that "fresh dubbed Naruto is most definitely in the works." Although the release venues and dates have not been finalized, the official announcement will be made on the Naruto.com website.

Voice actors in the Naruto cast have already reported that they have been dubbing episodes of the Naruto Shipp?den sequel series since last year. English-subtitled episodes of Naruto Shipp?den are available at the Naruto.com, Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Joost websites. NAMCO Bandai's Naruto Ultimate Ninja 4 game for the Sony PlayStation 2 game console will ship next

I would rather finish Naruto before moving on to dubbed shippuden(EVEN if most of it is filler)

I wouldn't mind if 20 or 40 filler episodes never made it to air and the filler eps were released as DVD only content. But I just think shipuuden will keep naruto hot in the states.

I agree, they need to finish the fillers. I really wanna see the last episode because it shows when Naruto leaves and everyone is training nonstop to improve. :)

i don't think i would like it in english...

i mean most of the voice actors in Naruto (english) suck...
And they replace the "cuss words" with the most anoying filler words.

i much prefer watching it with english subtitles..but thats just me.

No one was watching them, so cn felt it would be for the best to just pull it, I assume.

I don't understand though why they don't run re-runs though...They used to at 10.30 on weeknights, but half the Naruto viewing audience couldn't even watch them that late. It seems to me they'd get high ratings if they'd run them at a more convenient time, or even just during the day on weekdays...Naruto re-runs would surely get higher ratings than what'd they're getting now for the ridiculous stream of Tom and Jerry--which they're airing even though it's spring break. D:

(though admitedly I'm enjoying the Pokemon movie on right now...;D)

i don't wont shippuden to air befor the naruot serys is over. but i do what it to air in the u.s dub because i am staring to get bord of reading subtital.(but i don't mind reading subtilas)and i wont to hear the english version of sai voice and the new sasuke and naruto voices too...but i do want the shippuden to air dub after the naruto season is over.

That actually could work. I (unfortunatly) doubt that CN will finish airing the dubs -_- but Viz could just add them online through Hulu or something so they could finish the series. Idk, I just think that way would be easier...

I can say now that after finishing the Subbed version of Naruto I could live with Shippuden Dubbed, there really wasn't much to see where CN left off.
