READ ME: Rep Adjustments.
 
As part of the punishments the admins are enforcing a few users have had ALL reputation they gave out in the last month completely deleted due to rep trading.


This means that if you were one of the people that got rep from one of the punished, that rep gain will be gone and your rep will drop.

Let me explain this in detail for all of you. And since he has appoligised publicly I will use a real offender as an example.

Jinchuriki was found to be abusing the rep system in many ways and giving crazy amounts of rep to people for no reason. As a punishment the admins have deleted ALL REP given by him ni the last month.

If Jinchuriki gave you rep 2 times this month, that means you will lose that rep. Since Jins rep power was over 20 you may lose 40 rep for this.

YOU ARE NOT IN TROUBLE but to be fair all rep he gave out in the last month needed to be deleted.

That is why your rep may have dropped.

Even if you lose reputation, there is no point in making a big deal over it.

O i get it then so we just lose the rep they didnt deserve to give out. Well am glad thats happening sense repping is getting out of hand.

...this is confusing and stressful. Not this particular instance, but the whole ordeal.

Can we get some explicit details on when it is ok to rep and when it is not?

You give rep to a post that is well made and the poster have apparently put a lot of thoughts into. Or something you found incredibly funny. Just be a little careful what you rep when you have high rep power, but don't stop giving rep to deserving posts. Also, remeber to rep the post, not the poster.

My most specific question is about contests. If we have a contest, we can give rep to the winner(s), correct?

okay i was wondering why my rep dropped
