Who else watches/reads this?

I started reading it recently, and it's amazingly funny.

I read the first two volumes and was thoroughly unamused. The only good part for me was the old apartment manager who Gintoki never paid.

Is the anime any better/worse?

I currently only own the first volume of the manga at this time. I plan to collect future volumes when I get a chance.

I think the story is one of the more unique takes on manga in the past several years. Gintoki is a hilarious lead character, and the way all of it comes together is refreshing.

The anime is hilarious. I haven't read the manga, I have seen most of the anime. I am rewatching the whole series before April comes around so that I can be up-to-date when the anime series resumes in April.

This show is quite a trip. Very funny, its just like one big filler XD
