Don't pretend to be a mod.

I thought this was self explanatory, but do not pretend to be a mod.

Do not pretend you have infraction powers if you do not have them. Do not threaten to infract people if you do not have that power.

I just gave someone a MONSTER infraction for doing this and it was pointed out I should make an announcement cause it isn't fair.

There are unwritten rules that people should naturally follow.

Some things are "unwritten rules" like:

Don't threaten to rape anyone.
Don't pretend you work for viz and issue statements.
Don't hack into the forum servers.
Don't post images of people being killed.

The list goes on, but I am here to tell you that bullying other forum members by pretending you are a mod is on that list.

Don't do it. Seriously. I'm not kidding.

And no I'm not going to forgive the offender. You should know better. And if you DON'T know better, then I am ok with you not ever being able to get mod powers and losing access to the rep system. If you don't know better, you shouldn't be given real power, or even rep powers.

For the unwritten rules i guess people find loop holes.

Its quite sad and a little amusing when people do that, because there probarly leasting there chances.

It's not so much jumping through loopholes as it is smashing their way through with no regard (just ignoring them). The way it seems, anyway.

The point about loopholes is that they need a body that sticks to the rules. Here, if someone sees you being a smartass and trying to get around them, they will punish you anyway, then change the rules.

It's kinda funny, but I don't like people to pretend to be mods and bully people. I get yelled at for doing that, I don't need impostors making all the mods look bad and threatening out users,

Can't at the moment, the best measure that you have is what their grammar is like, and rep/post count.

Better grammar, higher rep/posts=more likely to have powers.
