Euthanasia. Yes or NO?

yes or no and why?
legalizing it is an issue.
some say Obama's health care equals Euthanasia.
it is illegal in other countries but refusing medical help is okay.

I feel that it is their own choice if they want to die or not. Why should they not have control over their own lives?

I sound like I'm a member of PETA... Yeah, if they do it to animals, then they should do it to humans, if they really need to. I don't see the point of having someone on life support if they're just going to... take up space. I don't think it's fair to keep someone alive if they can never be anything ever again. Let them go to heaven (or hell) And a sick person who can be saved could use that bed. So euthinasia is a good idea in those cases. But if it's just them wanting that, and they don't really need it at all, then no.

but what about those who can't decide for themselves? those in coma or mentally ill?

oh. i haven't been to those threads...it just hit me awhile ago...

and i was just wonderin' why are some people against suicide but pro-euthanasia and some against euthanasia but okay with suicide...
