Kakashi Chronicles-emotionally gripping
First off i want to say that im really glad part1 and 2 came out at the same time and we didnt have to wait another week. The episodes were good but Im sick of fillers and just want to get back to the main storyline. ANYWAY
I started this thread to see if anyone else had the same experience as me. I recently watched the Kakashi Chronicles and at the end of part2 I had that "end of series" feeling. You know what I mean? I had the same feeling when Avatar and d eathnote ended. I cant really explain it, but its just this feeling I get when a good series or tv show ends. Or when anything good ends! And it surprised me because I had that feeling...after only 2 episodes!!!! I think you really have to give credit to the writer of these episodes,(or of the manga) for being able to create new characters, give them unique personalities and some background, show their troubles and hardships, and get the viewer to almost feel attached to these characters and care about them enough so that you get that "end of series" feeling. Its just really good story writing. and if thats how I felt after 2 episodes then how am I going to feel when naruto ends....?? wow that was a lot of writing for me. |

Re: Kakashi Chronicles-emotionally gripping
I dont ever think Ive actually cried at a tv show or movie or anime, ever. I think ive teared up, but never actually cried
|
Re: Kakashi Chronicles-emotionally gripping
Well, you felt like it ended, because it was made to make people feel that, because Kakashi Gaiden, was a side story, and the ended is supposed to be very dramatic.

Re: Kakashi Chronicles-emotionally gripping
i thought it was realy sad when obito gave the little "Just when me and Kakashi were starting to get along" speech before he died. and i didnt cry i teared up. the only movie ive ever cried at was Pay it Forward, god the ending was really depressing

Re: Kakashi Chronicles-emotionally gripping
The whole gaiden tucks on the heart strings, I guess cuz i knew how it was going to end.....but watching those last few minutes and listening to it...I felt like I was going thru it with them....Truly a sad moment. I see now why Kakashi is always late...he misses his comrade......friend.....

Re: Kakashi Chronicles-emotionally gripping
I''m also glad that they showed it as an one hour special & Viz had the entired hour on its site. Would've hated to wait a week to see the conclusion (Even though we knew it already!). And that they kept true to Kishimoto's story & no fillers. Not since when Sasuke left his village for good, after his battle w/ Naruto, has there been a emtional story in the Naruto anime. And not since the FMA's anime of "Night of the Chimera's Cry", did an anime story make me cry. Well done animation for TV.

Re: Kakashi Chronicles-emotionally gripping
Soooooo true. Nothing before made me cry as much as that did before. The worst part, was that after ALLLLLL Obito had did for Rin, when Kakashi had said, when he was fighting those guys, "Obito cared about you allot....he loved you."
and Rin said, "Then you should know my feelings for you!" Geez, I would of been having a TOTAL change of heart. But yea, it was depressing. :( |
