In the Naruto Universe Itachi, he is cool calm and collective and after figuring out that the Hulk is fueled by Rage Itachi would use Genjutsu to calm him down and once Hulk was turned back into Banner he would pose no threat.

Yeah, I don't see much of a fight here. The Hulk is the Hulk mainlu upon impulse, not a whole lot going on up there. Itachi could just create a genjutsu and wait for the Hulk to tire out and turn into Banner before he killed him.

Dude... Itachi can't win. The Hulk can survive nuclear blasts unharmed, and I highly doubt because some weak fool tries to calm him down, he will turn back into Bruce Banner.

Seeing as Itachi's genjutsu are only for harm, Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu, Susano'o etc.. He would easily just get mad again anyway.

For people that don't follow the comics the Hulk is in, it's always odd for them to find out, but he's typically made out to be the 'ultimate' of the 'super bunch' out of the Marvel stable. So chances are, the Hulk would win, since the Hulk always wins. The only reason it works narratively is because they made Bruce Banner out to always lose, since being the Hulk is supposed to suck.

They even nuked him at one point. Dude shrugged it off, then he went to Tibet to get some chicks. Then they shot another nuke at him after he made it with one of them, and he jumped up and punched it out of the sky; head on.

That's how strong the Hulk is, despite how uninventive it may be. They made him out of win, which is unfortunate for Itachi.

SRhyse beat me to it.

Hulk stomps hard. He'd tank ANYTHING Itachi has to offer, and YellowFlash gave a lot of Hulk feats, like how he was completely able to resist mind control and seduction without even trying, genjutsu wouldn't do much to Hulk.

That's why I never really liked the Hulk, the dude never loses. I don't care what you people say, I'm going to be stubborn and stick up for Itachi.

You just admitted Itachi wouldn't win though, because the Hulk never loses.

I do like him better as a character as well, but he wouldn't win the fight. The Hulk is too poorly written to lose. It's just not what the Hulk does. There's not much more to him than being green, buff, and unstoppable :lol:.

Yeah but that is like the whole Superman=FTW!

Hulk hasn't encountered Jutsu before and I am pretty sure Itachi knows all sorts, even though some one said he ONLY know harmful ones. Itachi is a man who likes to learn it would naive to assume he learned three harmful techniques and said "DONE!". Naruto's Universes' only experience close to A-Bombs are The Tailed beasts and Pein's attack.

I still think Itachi could reach Banner(much like Sasuke reached Naruto inside his OWN mind) and neutralize the situation.

Genjutsu won't really be a threat to him seeing as he's resisted mind control before. He could tank the other attacks easily, he could probably just speedblitz Itachi, one punch and Itachi dies horribly, even if it's only a tiny fraction of his strenght, the dude lifted a 150 billion ton mountain.

ok but who has mind controlled Hulk, cheesy monologue-ing villans with greedy ambitions. Itachi is a much more complex character which is why I don't think the Green Giant can just smash such a complex guy into oblivion.

Exactly! In just about every story that invovles dual natures, you can almost always reach the other even buried deep in the sub-consinous. So if Itachi was able to do this, he could force Banner to take contorl and then kill him before he could change into the Hulk again, and thus kill the Hulk by doing so. Plus wasn't it already stated that Itachi didn't like violence? So why would he only learn harmful techiniques?

That is why I don't think he woul kill him, Itachi would either...

A.) Capture banner and take him to the Akatski
or
B.) Sealing Technique; Another something the Marvel universe isn't familiar with.

Actually I said most of his genjutsu is only harmful.

How is he going to calm Bruce Banner down by stabbing him for 72 hours with swords, or showing him his horrible past?

How would he calm him down by scaring him to death, by burning him? The genjutsu wouldn't even affect him anyways, and Amaterasu would be like the simple feeling of a feather.

Did you ignore the part about Sasuke and Naruto, Sasuke the emo puny rage filled weirdo can enter your subconscious and see what you truly are. I will bet all my pride that if the little loner can do it his Smart brother can too. Banner is weak, Itachi is strong willed and minded.
