Garret

Guevera was the ultimate spoiled bored suburbanite kid.. he was great at torturing and murdering innocent Cubans and Africans when they were defenseless not much else whereas Garret was an experience law man and had been in more than a few gun battles

tldr: Che was a coward and a scumbag

Wouldn't Guevera have better weapons though?

BTW I'm no fan of Che. I just thought it be a fun fight.

even if he was armed with a machine gun

spray and prey vs someone who can stay cool under pressure isn't the best of matches

Knife fight. hehe
Che would bring a gun to a knife fight.
But still I dislike him and kids who wear his shirts not knowing who he was and what he did.
I'm not into politics, but it's true.
Garrett is more interesting than Che.

I grew up around Cuban exiles...and a few Africans who served around them in his glorious war there

the stories they tell are pretty despicable..the guy was a coward and a bastard

Garret

Garret > all lawbreakers!

I was Pat Garret in a play once, so I'm kind of biased.

Isn't it spray and pray as in spray bullets and pray you hit your target...

I'm not familiar with guns at all so I'm a little confused how it would
be such a disadvantage? I mean how do you miss with a machine gun?
I guess if the guy is hiding but wouldn't you just wait until you find him?

you can miss with a machine gun if you don't have the first friggne clue how to wield one

recoil/flinching etc etc

unless he fires like point blank any way

Hm....Good point.

I probably should stop using Contra as a guide to weaponry. `|(

Though I imagine this would be something I'd better understand
if I actually used a gun before--which admittedly I haven't.

Re: Pat Garrett vs Che Guevra

I do not know much about the first combatant, but I do have much knowledge about Che Guevara, since I have relatives who were a part of Sweden's aid projects to Cuba, and they also have friends who served in Che's revolutions. He was not a trained soldier, but an author and physician who showed surprising leadership skills. His ability of personal fighting, however, may not have been the best.

A quick Google search tells me that Pat Garrett was a lawman in the late 1800's. In an all-out weapons fight, Che Guevara definitely has an advantage in technology, but I am not so certain about a knife fight. After all, Ernesto "Che" Guevara was a leader and not a soldier.
