Re: I have the flu.
Make sure you drink lots of fluids. Lots of vitamin C, so orange juice, supplements, etc. If your throat is sore, try some hot water with honey and lemon. If you're congested, rub some Vicks around your nose and on your chest to help relieve that. Decongestants may work for you as well but personally I've never tried them. If you're really achy, try taking some aspirin and taking a nap.
Lastly, some bed rest and some soup is what I'd recommend for you. Hope you feel better! |
Re: I have the flu.
So tell me again how you have the energy to be on the internet while having the flu?

Re: I have the flu.
Vitemine C does not help with Colds... That is actully fake. And Colds and Flues are not the same. Depending on what you have depends on the remidy. Yes drink water.
If you can sit outside or in a ice bath. The cold helps your immune system by increasing its power. But don't get your feet to cold. Because the cold weather or water with feet gives you Cold like symptoms. Chicken Soup has been proven to help that 1% with Colds also. Source: Me and Doctors I actully know plus Scientist. this has all been proven. |
Re: I have the flu.
1.) Vitamin C.
2.) Drink lots of room-temperature or warmer water. No cold water. The warmer the better, but I personally don't find it enjoyable to drink warm water. 3.) Gargle with salt water. Again, this should be room temperature or warmer, and the warmer the better because you're not gonna swallow, you spit it out. Gargle twice every hour or so for 30 seconds. 4.) Make sure your throat/sinus are all kept WARM, do NOT go outside. Also, keep it humidified. Dryness can just make a bad situation worse, so keep hydrated, take hot showers, and if you have a radiator heater, take a pot of water and put it on top. If you don't, maybe you could try boiling some water and then leaving it on your dresser or something before you go to bed? idk if that will work for long but at least you have that temporary humidity. |
Re: I have the flu.
You guys are wrong beyond the moon. That is like saying going outside with wet hair will make you sick.
Viti C does not help you get better from a Cold.... That is flat out proven. The cold does not make you sick, as you need a bactiria or virus for that not the cold temp. I am telling you new and already proven facts of science and health.... Cold Showers or ice baths just like with an injuury. It is proven to boost Immune system power to recover. You body recovers fatser with cold. Hence the ice to bring down swealling .... Also what do you have, Flu or Cold? YOu said flu in title and Cold in OP. |
