Let's Debate This: Do All Rinnegan Possess The Same Exact Power?
 

I don't know how many have thought about this... we know that all MS don't possess the same power... Some have kamui, others have amaterasu and so on... but what about Rinnegan?

Now, so far, we've only seen one rinnegan... Nagato's is the same as what Tobi is using which is the same as what ET madara is Using now... It has the powers to summon animals, Absorb jutsu, Rinne tensei, Chibaku Tensei, Bansho Tennin, Shinra Tense, and so on...

But Should Sasuke unlock his OWN Original Rinnegan, do you think it'd possess exactly these same powers? If yes, why?

I want to know what you guys think about this... I'm tired of the rinnegan threads too...i promise, this' the last... sharingan is just history now!...sort of...

Sasuke's would pretty much be the same since he hasn't really shown any dojutsu techs that Madara didn't have, but if Obito had awakened Rinnegan I can see it being different w/ using Kamui, etc. As for new Rinnegan exclusive abilities I doubt there would be any since I think it was commented on that the techs Nagato was using came from the Sage himself.

^ true...and i agree mostly but.../ we don't know if madara has amaterasu...he hasn't shown it...though it's very likely...

I'm wondering which of these two scenarios would ruin the image of the legendary Rinnegan :

a)Rinnegans having different/special powers, not only the powers like S. Tensei, etc.
b)Rinnegans having the same powers, S. Tensei, 6 Paths, etc.

I think all Rinnegans have the same capabilities, which are many. This isn't like the Sharingan which has had generations to evolve different capabilities, there's only been a couple of people who have had it, so I imagine it would be rather static.

Remember, no MS or EMS are exactly the same and are also visually different. So far there hasn't been any visually different Rinnegan. And all the Byakugan are identical and have identical capabilities (the only difference is in how proficient the Hyuga is at wielding it).

We've seen only one Rinnegan, so we do not know.

I think inherently they can, but like the Sharingan, the amount of talent a particular individual has will allow the Rinnegan to reach its full potential in the end. I feel that we only saw a really basic ability from both Madara and Nagato when it came to using it, and the full potential has not yet been seen considering just how powerful that particular dojutsu was supposed to be and who it originally belonged to.

It makes me wonder still if Naruto will some how end up with the real version of RS's dojutsu and we will see what made it so legendary in the end, and how that particular power was used to save the world from the Juubi. I do also think that in the end of it all, the power-ups we see that have been given to the Alliance will allow them to stay alive and allow them to battle Madara/Tobi while Naruto takes on the Juubi! Something about the Juubi and that battle will be the catalyst to Naruto's power up...

How could I have missed this!
Madara's EMS that evolves to Rinne has the jutsus we know.
Since Rinne comes from EMS, what would happen if, let's say, Obito somehow got Rinne.
Obito's EMS would be different than Madara's, and Rinnegan of Obito could use his Space/Time and Madara's can't.

your point is that's exactly why i posted this thread...

Imagine all rinnegans were the same and sasuke comes fighting naruto with the same rinnegan as nagato... That'd be a joke... Naruto would predict all his moves and staple sasuke to the ground easy..... but if sasuke's powers are unknown...yea...then we'd have an interesting match...

It's hard to say.

However, i believe every Rinnegan eye is unique. Like a snowflake.

Each Rinnegan user has had different power. So it's difficult to decide.

its hard to say because we only see one pair of eyes, but the powers have been used differently because of experience.

Well I don't think ame is rare. Susanoo needs both eyes dveloped as MS. But was it also referred to as you have to have ame in one eye and something else in the other to have susanoo?

We have no clue to any answer for rinnegan, but I'm curious how Obito transmitted the signal to his paths. He didn't have madara's poles sticking out of his back. Maybe you need no metal to transmit short range.

Anyway. All rinnegans use all natures, but there may be variances in none elemental jutsu. I don't see Obito with the almighty push. But he could have original stuff. But he hasn't had much time to discover anything.

i dont think obito would show different jutsu because those are nagatos (maddy's originally). And just like kakashi has obitos powers the transfer eyes will have the original powers. it up to how the user use it and how the chakra allows them to manage the power

Like every MS is differnet, every Rinnegan is different.
Maybe they all have basic powers which they share (Rinne jutsu), but each probably has a unique feature of its own.

I made a similar thread a while ago saying that EMS users with Senju DNA can unlock Rinnegan, but Rinnegan itself is NOT an evolution of Sharingan, but a completely new Doujutsu.

@OP

Maybe it depends on who's wielding it. I think its the same of how MS works. Kakashi's kamui works differently compare to Obito's kamui. Kakashi's can warp objects while Obito can phase through objects.

Rinnegan may work differently base on experience and knowledge of whos using it.

when it comes to kakashi and obito...yes, it may be dependent on the user but, i still don't want to believe each eye of the MS will do exactly the same thing... that'd be a waste... like shisui's left eye casting koto just as much as his right eye...

Itachi and Sasuke must be the exceptions... Having amaterasu and tsukuyomi in each eye...
