Hannibal vs Attila the Hun
Two great tacticians who caused severe damage to the mighty Roman Empire, both using cavalry to a great extent. Who would win in an all-out war? Hannibal Barca who took his elephants across the Alps and nearly conquered all of the young Roman Empire, or Attila the Hun whose conquests caused the demise of the world's largest nation?
Scenario: Somehow, the Carthaginian Empire and the Hunnic Empire exists simultaneously, and by beating Rome to a non-existing pile of dust there is nothing left to conquer… except for each other. The Huns come from the east, the Carthaginians come from the southwest, to face off in central Europe and then wherever the upcoming battles take them. Only one leader can save his empire… his enemy will die at his feet.
My own conclusion:
Re: Hannibal vs Attila the Hun
Hmm...Attila wasn't called the scourge of god for nothing.
Even though Hannibal has elephants, they are nothing if arrows rain above them.
Huns can ride and shoot, while elephants are slow.
Attila was more ''rush and eff 'em up'' guy, and it worked most of the time! :D
You never trust those Barbarians from the east.
