How far ahead is manga to tv series?
 

Im wondering how close they are to one another just wondering i only been reading manga so far i finished all way up to chapter 615. Just wondering what chapter tv series is on.

Well, half a year ahead, IF we're lucky.
A year would be more realistic.

As has been stated Naruto is just now reaching the battlefield (right around chapter 545). As for how long it will take the episodes to catch up... it is hard to say.

This arc has a lot of fight heavy chapters, which will whiz by in the anime if they don't try to pad things out for time. Plus I wouldn't be suprised if they start randomly tossing in unrelated filler arcs in the brief lulls in the action (which I'm totally against, as that is what killed the Bleach anime).

Ok, fighting, fighting, oh hey, guess what? They stopped fighting for a few episodes for a totally unrelated thing!


They should have just waitied for the manga to catch up. But no, because apparently they are too impatient, they have to ruin it

Well the latest volume the manga is on is number 63 from what I know the last manga related stuff anime was on was just when they got through volume 57 which was where Naruto and Bee tried to get through A the Raikage and Tsunade and they finally let them pass after that they been on fillers for a while and this next episode finally finishes the filler arc they been on and after they finally get to where Naruto joins war which is start of volume 58 so yeah they are still way behind since anime is only about half way through the war and the manga is nearly done with it.

I would say at least a year if you take into account all the war filler episodes that they will most likely put in.

Far, If you notic they usally try to keep them far, because the show is based on the manga. If the show catches up, then they stop the show untill the Manga gets further ahead.
