Rikoudo's Sword & Staff & The Mystery Of The Scroll
This item is the most important weapon rikoudo used against the juubi. It seems without it, beating the beast with just rinnegan would be impossible. But these staff and sword? where could it be. Who'd inherit it?
Now, i made a theory long ago thinking it was itachi's gift to naruto but after a careful look at things, it seems what's in the scroll that juugo and the H2O dude brought to sasuke could as well be those weapons. Whatever was in the scroll is different from sasuke's request to mean a certain somebody. H2O said, with this "we" could rule the world right? It gotta be something completely new to them... It couldn't be the rinnegan; why'd mr. Hz0 think something like that? afterall nagato couldn't rule the world with that? he got beat by naruto? This thing in the scroll is a weapon and I wanna say it's the sword and "staff" of rikoudo. His most powerful weapons. |
Re: Rikoudo's Sword & Staff & The Mystery Of The Scroll
Rokudo no Kiri/Tsurugi would be awesome.
I thought about a nice mythical sword that would fit the Naruo Universe. Like a sword which can take shape of any chakra nature there is. But knowing Kishi, it's probably something from Shinto mythology. If you can find some regalia that look like Sage's tools- you're a boss. Yata no Kagami, Kusanagi no Tsurugi and Yasaka Magatama are imperial regalia. I think. Also, Susano'o defeated an 8-headed snake, Yamata no Orochi. (Itachi taking down Orochimaru) Jiraiya was frog master. Izanagi and Izanami making a pair. Amaterasu, Susano'o and Tsukuyomi are siblings etc. |
Re: Rikoudo's Sword & Staff & The Mystery Of The Scroll
Swords are too mainstream, staff ftw. :D
It's time for weapons to play large roles and not just jutsus. Hmmm, but something just crossed my mind. What if that scroll contained some type of seal that could seal one's ability to use jutsu or seal one's chakra and make him a normal unable person to use chakra. |
Re: Rikoudo's Sword & Staff & The Mystery Of The Scroll
Sounds good, but couldn't they just use that sword of sealing Itachi had to beat them? Is that possible too?

Do you have proof those were the strongest of his weapons? They might have been normal weapons.

Re: Rikoudo's Sword & Staff & The Mystery Of The Scroll
^what? I don't have proof they were his strongest weapons but based on the fact that Juubi was the strongest opponent he fought, and he used those two weapons to fight the juubi, we can infer that, it is actually his strongest weapons...
compared to those 5 ninja tools the land of lightning possessed. |
Re: Rikoudo's Sword & Staff & The Mystery Of The Scroll
^Still not as strong as Rasengan and Kage Bunshin.

Re: Rikoudo's Sword & Staff & The Mystery Of The Scroll
I could see it being the sage's staff. That would certainly be interesting, though I would wonder if it would be the elder son's sword? I remember the little scene we saw with them fighting, the younger son was holding a staff and the older a sword.
Would certainly fit, either way! I guess I wonder though if everything the sage owned would really have to be that significant, knowing Kishi though, it probably is! So you are probably right! (He's like King Midas with chakra power!) |
