Seriously, look at those big eyes with 6 tomoe. The Juubi I mean... If It uses shower mokuton, on that level, shouldn't it be able to use genjutsu on a much higher level than even Itachi?

How pissed would you be if the entire alliance were caught in a big genjutsu already?

Would you rage against Kishi? Would it be a bad plot?


After some deductions, the only thing that makes it safe that it isn't a genjutsu at the moment is that the juubi's eyes weren't revealed to Shikaku and Inoichi so they couldn't be caught.

I think Naruto and B would have been alerted to a genjutsu by Gyuuki and Kurama if they were under one.

Or this could all be a possible future invisioned by the sage toad lol. But seriously that sounds legitimate other than the fact that Jiraya wouldn't have this much information to predict such events and if hes recording history then he would have to be alive in the shadows evading the detection of everyone.

yea, i thought of that but i was more leaning towards the possibility that The juubi's genjutsu is too strong to be broken by even a jinchuriki's partner (bijuu)...



I'm not thinking the whole thing is a genjutsu, i'm just considering ever since the Juubi got it's second transformation, just from that point?

It would certainly be interesting...I think the only thing that would bother me is if that were used as a plot device to bring Neji back from the dead. I am kind of OK with letting him be dead because death is actually bringing his character development full circle...oddly enough it makes him a tragic hero because he went from accepting that fate angrily to taking it on optionally once he understood.

Other parts can be Genjutsu, sure! that would be fine...but that final death scene for him just fits so well, its like you should only live that one time.

Well the Eye could just be it under some control like the Kyuubi was when Tobi controled him and madara.

Well it would sux if it was nejis death is vital it really ruined obits plan of despare(brain fart don't think I spelled it right.lol) but anyway neji dyin has bonded everyone together.

Or the Juubi just lacked the skill of using Genjutsu, what made it easier for Rikudo to defeat it.
