Survival Of The Gangs RP
 
In the US there is a massive recession that pushes the entire middle class into lower class. The result is a rise in crime and a outbreak of gangs across the country.

You are a recently poor and have just moved into a ghetto. You learn quickly that you must be in a gang to survive. You decide that you must start your own gang. Make alliances with gangs, make rivalries with some gangs, join gangs. You decide!

(Built gives you +15 strength, -5 speed)

(Fit gives you +10 stamina, +5 strength, +5 Speed, -10 equipment, -5 resistance)
(Mediocre gives you +5 everything)

Stats: You have 30 points to distribute to each of the stats + your body type bonus.
  • Strength: (How strong your character is)
  • Speed: (How fast and nimble your character is)
  • Stamina: (How long you can fight, and how good your aim is when using a gun)
  • Resistance: (How much damage and stress your character can take)
  • Equipment: (The amount of money coming in to buy/upkeep equipment)


How stats work:
Note: I will update these as people get more stat points than 20, but at the moment, no one will.

Strength:

Strength!
Strength is a stat that is useful in all areas. It is definitely useful in fighting, because you and your crew will be strong, and thus hand-to-hand fighting will be easy. Also, the kick of guns will have less of an effect on you. However, it is also useful in RPing situations. If one of your crew gets stuck under a car or something, the more strength you have, the better chance of helping them you have.

Strength and Resistance have some overlap.

Levels of strength:
Negative 10 and lower: A child. You have little to no strength at all. You can't lift a bag of 50 lbs.

Negative 9-Negative 4: A less than average teenager. You are able to lift about 50 pounds, but with much struggling. You aren't really strong at all. You have a tiny amount of muscle.

Negative 3-3: You are average. You can lift a 50 pound bag, but it isn't super easy. It takes a little work.

4-9: You are above average. You hit the gym once a week. You can bench 100 lbs. You are stronger than the majority of your internet friends. You are really good at arm wrestling.

10-15: You are a workout fanatic. You go to the gym everyday. You are ripped. You can easily bench 200 lbs. You are stronger than basically every one of your friends. You always have to help move your neighbors furniture because you are so strong.

16-20: Gymnast. You are strong enough to be a competing gymnast. Your punches are just devastating. Basically every muscle in your body is stronger than most teenager's biceps. You aren't Olympic yet, but you are close.


Speed:

Speed is a stat useful in every aspect of this RP. Obviously it is useful in RPing, if you have to get away from a burning building, if you have to dodge bullets, ect. In fighting it is a little bit less useful unless you have a melee weapon. However, speed can make the RP monumentally easier.

Speed is somewhat related to Stamina.

Negative 10 and lower: Fat kid. You can't run worth shitt. You tire out after running for 1 minute. There is no way you could ever run a mile in under an hour. You are ALWAYS last in PE class.

Negative 9 - Negative 4: Less than average teenager. You can run a mile in about half an hour. You don't have anything special, but you normally aren't the last kid in PE. You normally come in 11th to last place in the mile.

Negative 3 - 3:You are average. You can run a mile in about 10 minutes, maybe 8 on a good day. You normally come in the middle of the pack in PE. You don't really play sports, but if you did you would probably be a goalie in soccer, a defensive lineman in football, or a catcher in baseball. There's no way you could even get on your high school basketball team.

4-9: You are an athlete. You play sports, and you normally have one of the more athletic positions. You come in the first 3 in PE. You can run a mile in about 6 minutes You would play a shortstop in baseball, a wide receiver in football, a forward in soccer, or a shooting guard in basketball. You could make 1st string on basically any high school sports team.

10-15: Marathon runner. You run for fun. You are super fast and you can basically outrun anyone you know. You can run a mile in about 4 or 5 minutes. You always come in first in the mile in PE class. You are a competing marathon runner. You actually make money by running.

16-20: A training Olympian. You aren't on the Olympic level yet, but you are almost there. You can run a mile in about 2 minutes. Nothing more to say.


Stamina!:

Stamina!

Stamina is a very important stat. It is useful in every single instance. When fighting it helps you be able to fight for a longer period of time. When RPing it helps you be on missions healthy longer.

Negative 10 and lower: A child. You can't last very long at all. After about an hour of not resting you start getting weak.

Negative 9- Negative 4: Tweenager. You can take a couple hours of work, but you need rest, and you can't do very hard work.

Negative 3 - 3: You are average. You can work for about 10 hours but you need to sleep a ton. You can stay up late and still be okay. You are average.

4-9: Party-er. You can go for a whole day without sleep, but you will need it eventually. You can work for 12 hours and still be alright to stay up for a while, but you will need to sleep a lot that night.

10-15: Naturally caffeinated. It seems like you never stop. You can go for a week with limited sleep, but you will sleep for basically a whole week after that. You can do missions all day and be fine. You always are down to do stuff.

16-20: Super-awake-person. You have energy all the time. You can basically stay awake for an entire month doing missions, as long as you sleep for like, 4 days. Your health deteriorates super slowly.


Resistance:

Resistance is the ability to take a lot of damage with no repercussions. In fighting this is obviously useful as you can take a ton of damage without being seriously hurt. In RPing this is less useful, but is still nice as you have a lot of damage protection.

Negative 10 and lower:A child. You can't take ANY damage. You break a bone after getting hit by a weak punch.

Negative 9-Negative 4: You can take a couple weak punches, but a blow from any weapon and you are done. A bullet will put you in the hospital for a week.

Negative 3-3 You can take a lot of weak punches, and like, 3 strong punches. Your bones break at a normal rate. A level 3 strength punch will break your nose. A bullet will hurt, but you can take it. 2 bullets will take you out, though.

4-9: Above average. You can take about 100 weak punches consecutively. You can take like, 10 strong punches. A level 9 punch will break your nose. A level 10 will break an arm. You can take 5 bullets.

10-15: Punching Bag. You can take all the weak punches in the world. You can take 25 strong punches before you are done. You can take like 10 bullets before you have to get medical help. A level 16 punch will break a nose, a level 18 will break a bone.

16-20: Juggernaut. You can take a lot of damage. You have to be hit by a grenade to really take you out. A sniper to the head will take you out, though. It takes about 10 clips of pistol bullets to really hurt you.


Equipment!:

Each character is allowed to have a weapon - gun, knife, ect - As long as it is approved by RadicusMaximus. Yes, that means there are no bazokahs in this world.

The equipment stat, however, decides the load your crew will carry. If you have a lower equipment stat, your crew will carry weak weapons, if you have a high equipment stat, your crew will carry strong weapons. And if you have a negative equipment stat, your crew will carry shitt weapons.

The higher your number is in your class, the better the weapons are. Example: If you are a 15, your guns will be better than a 13. Or if you are a 2, your brass knuckles will be stronger than a -1, ect ect.

Weapons:
Negative ten and lower: a beanie. Yes, a beanie, a hat that is worn on your head during winter normally, however skaters tend to wear them year-round. Although they don't do much damage, they are quite fashionable. This is really just a joke. If you have a score lower than negative 10, you really don't have a crew that fights with you.


Negative 4 to Negative 9: A ring. A ring that you wear on your finger to make a punch hurt more. Yeah, your crew helps in hand to hand fights. However, the ring will easily break if a punch is too hard.


Negative 3-3: Brass knuckles. An upgrade from the ring. They make a punch hurt much, much more. Hopefully your crew is strong.


3-9: A baseball bat. Yeah, a baseball bat does a lot more damage than brass knuckles and has more range. The bat is a metal demarini. It hurts.


10-15: Kel-Tec P-32. A small handgun, normally used for self defense. They can make you hurt, but it takes about 2 clips to kill someone. The range is small but it still has more range than a baseball bat.


16-20: Beretta 21A Bobcat. A handgun that is larger than the Kel-tech, but smaller than a normal handgun. It has a better range, more power and has larger bullets. Made in Italy, you know it is a good gun.

Basically, Rocco is a really fast guy, like peak physical form. He is also really strong. Like, Olympic medalist strong. He is a pretty good shot, hits over half of the time. he is the leader of a large gang, so he has a large equipment stat. He can't take much damage, though

In order for one gang to be dissolved into another, it must lose in a war.

When wanting to make a relationship, message me so I can make it official.

Each post must be 2 paragraphs long.

Works kinda like FV, but not really. More regulated. and stuff.

If you fight a member of a rival gang and lose, you will be executed, and you will have to make a new character.


How the map works:

Essentially, the entire US is just a big city in this. You can travel from New York to LA in an hour.

You are an ordinary human. You have never had any fight experience.

Your ethnicity is important. It determines which gangs you can and cannot join, and which gangs you get along with, and which you don't.

You can be dissolved into another gang, but only with my permission.

Once your gang gets big enough, you can join the Crips/Bloods.

You start with 5 members in your gang.

Player 1: Walking down street, whistling a tune. Trying to get back to HQ. I look at the worn down buildings all around me. I look at the familiar building with "Daniel's Denny" painted on it. The upstairs windows are boarded up and the left one only has 2 planks left. It is a creepy building. I continue walking to my HQ, about a block away.
Player 2: See P1. Walk over and initiate conversation. I see the star on his back, saying he is part of the star gang. "Name's Al, part of the Lunar Clique"
*LUNAR CLIQUE AND STAR GANG ARE ALLIES* *THEIR ALLIED GANG NAME IS ATMOSPHERE GANG*
P3: Oh, look at the poor little Atmosphere buddies hangin out.

Nah, just cause you're fat doesn't mean you can't last very long in fighting. Either way, that would be too many negatives.

I mean, to me, it makes more sense that fat people would be slow instead of having stamina...

Nah, YOU are allowed to have weapons, but your crew's weapons are determined by the equipment stat.
