We all just want Sakura to die, but I wouldn't mind Shino doing a sacrifice, or Tenten dying of chakra overdose, or even Gai for going 8 gates, CMON already!

I thought you didn't care if anyone lived or died, you keep spouting on about this Infinite Tsukuyomi so you can be with your beloved wrinkly Rin.

Anyways, it would be just as bad writing to kill off characters for the sole purpose of appeasing some fans need for "realism". People are dying in this war, but just because they're not main characters you guys are all crying foul. On the other hand if Kishi killed off half of the K11 you know there would be tons of people complaining about how their favorite character got dispassionately killed off without a decent death scene and no sense of closure.

He already killed four out of five of my favorite characters :( RIP Konan, Itachi Deidara and Jiraiya :(

Well, I'm not sure which characters are your favorites, but if Asuma or Jiraiya are among them, they both got entire arcs of build up leading to their deaths and had some kind of noble actions/final speech. Plot progression also was a huge factor. None of these things would happen if Kishi just decided to massacre major characters from the Alliance.

Kimimaro, Konan, Old Tobi, Zetsu, Kisame...

The only one that got any form of backstory was Jiraiya, his death made me think Kishimoto was brilliant!

After that, it was just disappointment :(

Naruto needs to kill Obito

Maybe that will be his final test from Obito? To be able to do what must be done, while corrupting himself at the same time?
It's a mental trap that is perfect for Naruto, either be killed by Naruto and still prove that anyone can go against their values to do what must be done, or be left alive, just proving that Naruto takes his values over his friends life.
