Kinda Frustrated -_-
 

The Levy didn't pass for my school. They are cutting almost EVERYTHING that isn't mandatory. All sports, except football which I find stupid because it takes the most money, theater foreign languages, ROTC, basically any extra activity. Our schedules are now only going to be 5 or 6 periods and we don't have school on Fridays. Like 50 teachers are getting laid off and it isn't even the bad ones.

This is super frustrating because it ruins all my plans for the future and the classes I need to do to get started. -_- I'm kind of mad because the people that voted NO on this aren't even in school so they don't know how it affects us or they don't have kids. Don't get me wrong, they are raising taxes higher, which I wouldn't like if it was pointless, but it's for educational purposes and it isn't like I live in a poor area.

Some of the cuts are starting next semester, but most of it will start next school year. My parents are making arrangement for if I can go to a different school, but I would have to move back to Texas and live with my dad. :/
For most of the kids they are like " YAY school isn't long.' But for the ones who actually care for their future and have plans to graduate early and do specific jobs that the extra classes prepared you for the classes in college, it is terrible. Sorry, I had to rant and this is the only place to do it because my mom doesn't care and kept arguing about it. -_-

I know who to blame, it was the state government who won't give the money and local who decided what to do. :lol: This had nothing to do with Obama.

@ Klaire: Not happy, I really don't want to move again. Moved from ohio to texas, Texas back to Ohio, and I guess back to Texas.

It's supposed to increase shipping between Michigan and Canada... it's going to be right next to another bridge.
The people who own the bridge are really behind it, they can only move so many semi's over the bridge, but now they are hacking it off so that civilians can't go across until they get their god damn bridge...

Nope, just more steel over water to keep up on, wasting millions a year...

Increased taxes, probably a massive increase in profits (for the companies...)
Aaaaand, 100 new jobs, extremely dangerous jobs.
People die working on bridges every year..

..I'm frustrated too but for different reasons, so you're not alone, ugh. >.<
