Will Gary Johnson get 5% of the Popular Vote?
 

Apparently there's this thing where if a 3rd party candidate gets just 5%
of the vote that they'll get federal funding like the donkeys and elephants do and they'll be on the ballot for all 50 states in the next election.
Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

I for one had no idea about this. Did you?

Now I still stick by my guns that nobody is going to make a difference
(at least in a good and lasting way.) Even if Gary Johnson were to win
the election by some crazy unforeseen miracle...I still contend that

It would not make a difference. At the very least a worthwhile one.

But still...if Gary Johnson got 5% of the votes that would be huge
and he's basically got the Dr. Ron Paul seal of approval as well.

Are there enough loonies (according to Wooster ;))
to mark the beginning of the end of the two party system?

Seriously I never knew about this whole 5% thing.

BTW this is in no way meant to be an endorsement for Gary Johnson or Ron Paul or Wooster. Frankly I don't care who wins. But it will be fun to see if this 5% thing pans out.
