Asylum is as the name describes. A mental asylum in a state of disrepair, having been completely abandoned since the early 1900's. All is pitch black. Screams can be heard from all wings, and spirits of the insane can be observed. Rusted out cells can be seen down the hallways, skeletons included. Both participants start out in two seperate solitary confinement cells next to each other separated by a wall, which is locked by a 4 inch steel door, surprisingly still functional. The first task is to escape, and the second task is to survive and kill your opponent.

During Sensory Shift, the participants will use the die roll feature to determine how one of their senses are altered. Using a 1 d 6 roll, they will receive a number. The corresponding numbers and effects are listed below. Judging will factor in how well the participants RP having their senses stripped or altered.

1- Sight: Your sight will suddenly be severely impaired, to a state of legal blindness. You will only be able to see feint blurs of things within almost a point blank range. Otherwise, nothing.

2- Smell: Your sense of smell is amplified to beyond superhuman levels. Your body should not reasonably be able to accept it, and cause extreme discomfort.

3- Hearing: The ability to hear is stripped entirely. You will receive no sound at all.

4- Taste: Your sense of taste is amplified, and you will taste anything you touch, causing extreme discomfort.

5- Touch: Your sense of touch is amplified. Causing your pain tolerance to plummet, and your ability to perform basic fighting skills without extreme concentration.

6- Body/Spirit: Your sense of Touch is removed from your body, although not having an effect on your ability to fight. But physical harm to your body is amplified (by a factor of 2). Also, you become detached from your surroundings mentally.

If you are to roll any of these twice in a row, you are to retain that impairment for the rest of the battle.
