HST Chapter of the Week 66

All of them are out. Discuss and vote.

Week 65 Results:
1) Bleach 511: "Death Whilst Standing" - 7 votes
1) Naruto 605: "Hell" - 7 votes
2) One Piece 684: "Stop it, Vegapunk!" - 4 votes

One of those rare times when both Naruto and Bleach surpass One Piece.

Bleach was mediocre.

Naruto was decent.

One Piece was awesome.

In the voters' opinions. :ugeek:

This week, One Piece wins easily.

The majority liking something doesn't make it better. For instance, look at George W. Bush.

Devroux 10-17-2012 04:35 PM

Re: HST Chapter of the Week 66

Chapters were voted on ex post facto. Bush was not. Your point is invalid.

You're a human, people's opinions aren't facts, nor are definitions. They are just what some dude has considered to be true, thus placing his opinion on what is true over another's opinion. There's no such thing as best or better. Your point is invalid.

I stating nothing about best or better in this argument; only of poll results. Your accusations are false. :ugeek:

You were arguing against my saying of 'The majority voting for something doesn't make it better', ergo meaning you were arguing based on the existence of better.

Aye~ This is true. I fell into a discussion that wasn't my intention of being in. I concede to your ideals of "better" and "best" being subjective without any complaints, for I agree. :ugeek:

Maik feels personally successful in yet another battle of wits.

He shouldn't, for had I recognized his change of topic, there wouldn't have been any disagreement to begin with.

What is this, your sixtieth win against Dev? >.>

Not in the slightest. Very rarely do Maik and I ever disagree and whenever we do, we always come to an agreement to disagree, seeing that the current subject is, as usual, subjective and based on the individual's opinions. :ugeek:

The Electoral College still works on a certain majority scale.

And yet, you're always wrong at the end somehow.

Nope. Neither do state votes.

Which is why each and every state has a different amount of 'points', along with swing states. If you win primary elections in twenty-six states, it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll win the election. This is especially true if you opponent leads in key swing states, like Florida, or places with a higher 'worth', such as California.

For instance, compare Texas to Montana.

Maikeru D. Shinigami 10-17-2012 05:01 PM

Re: HST Chapter of the Week 66

Each of those points are represented by a representative though, which means that having the majority of votes from representatives would make you the winner.
