Alliance between Mist and Leaf?
 

Based on some of the things I saw in the recent chapter I am inclined to believe that Rin was a potential candidate to be a Jinchuuriki.

Now, going with that why would she be in the middle of nowhere with Kakashi and a bunch of Mist ninja? Well, I think that the Mist wanted a Jinchuuriki because they had lost their others and so they proposed an alliance with the Leaf where they would get Rin.

Obviously something went wrong at the meet up or maybe Rin asked Kakashi to kill her because she didn't want to do it.


Edit: Also worth noting, Rin has experience in eye transplants. Ao had an eye transplant to get the Byakugan.

Rins hair is brown yes but as we saw now is that not all uzumakis don't have red hair (naruto for example) it's by genes daph :lol:

Plus Gaara has red hair and he isn't an Uzumaki......so I think

i think its more likely that rin was a spy and kakashi stoped her or that she asked him to kill her for a reason but hey who knows

One of the Mist ninja did say somethig about being foiled jsut when they got there hands on it( one before said that Kakashi kiled her.) Although, pronouns and Asian languages can be murky.

So there does seem to be somethign besides just Rin they want, maybe biju. And we do konw this near the time Kushina had Naruto. Maybe Madara's first attempt to get the nine tails; he probably already controlled the Mist village. Failure here led to the later Tobi/Obito plan.

10 Reasons why the bijju theory is HOPEFULLY not true

1-You do not have to be a Senju nor an uzumaki to contain a bijju (that is just for the stronger bijju like Kurama)

2-Yes red hair is a common trait of uzumaki and it is possible to not have red hair and be an uzumaki ... but that could be anyone

3-Look at her clothing! She has face paint (like kiba's) and she does not have any familiar clan symbol so I doubt she was a senju/Uzumaki

4-Why pick someone to hold a bijju WHO IS NOT FROM YOUR VILLAGE!?!?!? Bijju's are powerful weapons so why would you want to put it in another person from a different village

5-Kakashi would protest against Rin being a jinjuriki and I doubt Minato would let it happen

6-Not everyone can be a jinjuriki! Some can not handle it

7-Rin obvioulsy had a trait that was desired that would be unavilabe in death such as
-inforomation!! (some sort of info that was cruscial and could foil a plan)

8-Killing a jinjuriki would not foil a plan. The bijju would come back to life right? I was alwaysed confsued about what happens when a bijju dies?

9-Rin looked shocked when she died! Usually (and I know this sounds dumb) If Rin wanted to die she would have said" Th-Thank Y-You" She would not repeat his name

10-Kakashi did not want to do it. He knew he lost cuz after he killed her he was surronded

Yeah the translation thing is a theory maker.

With all the smoke clouds, surrounding Kakashi and Rin, and the mist ninja saying they couldn't get "it," and Kakashi foiling them...

I feel like it doesnt make sense, yet, but it sounds like Killing Rin stopped them from getting a bijuu. And that sounds like she was a jichurike.

Then after she drops to the ground, and Kakashi too, they say grab the "woman."

So "it," and "woman," suggest two different entities. And the bijuu theory seems to explain why so many ninja are surrounding the lonesome friends.

But I don't think it was an alliance like the subject of the thread. I'm thinking the Leaf had, perhaps briefly, two bijuus. The mist were going to kidnap Rin, the Jinchurike for one of them. Kakashi knew he couldn't protect her, so he killed Rin to stop the "powerful Jounin and Anbu types" from stealing the bijuu/weapon from the leaf.

This would also explain why Obito can't blame Kakashi for murdering her outright and killing him as well. He knows kakashi was in a very bad spot, and had to kill Rin, and now Obito is heartbroken by the horrible situation that his best friend was forced to kill his crush.

kakashi unlocks the Sharingan, because Rin was his best friend at that point. I think that there might have been some weird psionic connection with the sharingans being so close together. I think somehow, Kakashi actually unlocked both sharingans. Or perhaps Obito was so heartbroken for himself and for Kakashi, that he vicariously lived through Kakashi and unlocked his remaining sharingan.

Well you don't have to be an Uzumaki to be a Jinchuuriki. It just so happens that all the Ninetails Jinchuuriki have been from the Uzumaki clan.

What if Rin was Naruto 2nd cousin or distant relative or something. Could see it happening like Naruto is kinda related to Tsunade. :D

Also, she probably had a strong bloodline. Maybe Senju?
She was a medic, and them Senjus are good at that.

They did ask for Rin but Rin doenst strike me as the type of person who would be chosen. She's a little too soft, not really strong willed.

1.Uzamaki simply make better containers for all bijuu not neccesairly one with many tails.
4.The same reason kushina and mito were picked they were better candidates then anyone else in the village.
5.Protest doesnt help much if the village wants it the village gets it. And also old people like danzo enforce it.
8.If rin contained a bijuu we would have been told at one point. And kakashi would have been punished hard by the village elders.
9. Getting stabbed by the equivalent of a handheld thunderbolt and Also getting stabbed right through the heart doesnt leave much time to express gratitude.


Mostly agree with you on the other things.

Why does everyone think it was about information? If that was all it would have been done after kakashi killed her since the info would be no more.

Instead the mist ninja still wanted the corpse. She obviously has some kind of special genes/lifeforce/power which might even track back to the So6P since that is the theme this story is taking anyone.
