Yamamoto vs Whitebeard
Now this fight would be pretty freakin intense. Two stupidly strong old geezers fighting!
Yamamoto starts off at base and fight takes place at a wasteland. These two have all their feats. , abilities , etc.. |

IMO Whitebeard just gets burned to death. I don't think he can make quakes while he's on fire.

Seeing how he can fight with most of his innards melted by magma and half his face(and most likely brain) burned off as well for a long time on top of hundreds of other injuries and sickness, Whitebeard may be able to outlast Old Man Yama in durability.

Well its acually not a bad match I'd say WB with high difficulty if yama can get his bankai out quickly and wb with mid difficulty if yama can't get it out quickly enough In any case its a tough match yama won't go down without a fight and neither one will come out unscathed by any means |

It seems like it'd come down to how well Whitebeard's precog can counter the shunpo. If not well, since base > shikai is damn near instant, if Yamamoto can get within range before Whitebeard can react, he can probably blow out a large enough volume of flames to ash him without needing bankai.

Yeah this match up is pretty good since both are tankers. Bankai's aren't really hard to release all they have to do is say ''Bankai'' thats it and it releases. This match if it actually happened would be legendary

If yamamoto rolls with shikai he gets quaked into retirement by whitebeard.
If yamamoto goes bankai whitebeard will get burned out of exitance. |

Ichigo does it several times, including in Hueco Mundo. But they can also stand on air, yes.
