My god. I just played the hell out of this game. I somehow got to 8-2, and that is where I met my demise. It was all the hardest parts of world 2 combined into one level. THE FLYING DEVIL SUN WAS THERE AND KILLED ME. And don't be fooled by 8-2. There was 5 extremely tough levels before 8-1.

How far have any of you guys gotten?

:lol: I always stopped at around 2-3 because the sand castles scared me as a kid

I've beaten the whole game...once. I can beat the whole game up to the last world easily...but then world 8 is just devilishly difficult.

World 7 kicked the crap out of me for a while. World 4 is annoying with all the pipes, I beat world 5 with minor difficulty, I have never beaten world 6, and the others are easy.

I beat SMB 3, it's hard indeed, but if you save all the (insert sideways 8 here) P's, it's a cake walk

I used mine on the final airship before the actual levels in world 8. I used 2 flutes so I had almost no items from past worlds lol

I used the flute once I got 2's P's (by the time you reach the 3rd world you should have a 2nd one, but the 2nd one takes luck to find) then I use it again and play the 8th world, by now you should have a cloud as will, they help you skip a level, use it to skip a hard level

For the flutes, I can find 3 by the second world. The first one is in level 3. On the white block floating you hold down for 6 seconds and you fall through, and run to the end. You are rewarded with a flute. For the second it is in the first castle(not the airship). With the part with the dry bones, you need the leaf. Fill your P meter and fly above the celing and go all the way to the right and press up. Voila, another flute. The third one is super easy to get. In the second world you get a hammer from beating a hammer bro, then you use the hammer on the rock all the way up in the right corner of the world map in second world. It unlocks a new path where you get frog suit and another hammer bro battle. If you beat the hammer bro, you get another flute. lol

I never really liked the desert stages. The underwater ones were tricky too. The cheep cheeps and squids...

OMG GUYS GUESS WHAT?!?!??!

I BEAT IT!

I used a cloud on the last castle (not the final level, the castle before it) IT WAS SO HARD. And on the final level, I had 24 lives. I won on my last life.

Guess who's never playing this game again :lol:

This game was difficult. I got to World 8 and just gave up. I think I lost it on 8-4 after about 20 game-overs. :lol:

I played the lost levels. About 30 game overs by world 7. xD
