Anime Expo 2012
Ahh yes..it's that time again! ANIME EXPO!! WOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Starts this Friday, and ends Monday. June 29-July 2. This year is going to be the 21st anniversy of the AX! It is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. As usual, there will be lots of anime merchendaise and cosplayers around the convention center. I can't wait to gooo!!!! I bought the four day pass for $45. I think the regular day ticket is like $45. So ya, I got it at a great deal! I'm going on Friday and Saturday. b:P |

We have one coming up here this weekend and I don't think we'll be able to go to it. >.< Which is incredibly annoying, it's a bad week this week for the household to go to such a thing, ugh..

Conventions aren't really my thing, but I would like to cosplay as alot of characters o.o anyway, have fun!

That was fun but miserably tiring....
Tomorrow, Rikiya Koyama(Yamato's VA) will be there!!! Gona buy a wall scroll with Yamato and have Koyama sensei sign it~ and gona try to hav him say Yamato's famous quote~! |

Yess. Got Rikiya Koyama's autograph!! And shook hands and took a pic with him! At first he had his hand on my left shoulder but then he changed it to something looking like a tiger hand sign. Darn. If only my cousin got that pic of him with his hand on my shoulder... But it was overall an awesome experience!

Ahh yes....went to 2 days for the AX. Got to meet Rikiya Koyama! Yamato's voice actor. Took a pic with him, shook his hand, and he signed a naruto wall scroll with Yamato on it~ was an awesome day.
When i first met him i greeted him in japanese: "Rikiyama sensei, dozo yoroshiku!" then we shook hands. i was really glad that i was able to meet him! was such an honor! sad thing was..my cousin missed a pic where Riki had a hand on my shoulder for a pic..darn...*sulking.... but my cousin did get a pic of Riki posing with something that looked like a tiger hand sign. i was with him in that pic~ was soo awesome was nice because i think he was the only voice actor to actually get up from his seat to take a pic with fans. was a really awesome and nice guy~! love to meet him again! i realized in 08, Toshihiko Seki(Iruka's VA) came. that was the same year of my first AX visit. overall i took about 30 pics of cosplayers. ranged from pokemon, one piece, yugioh, and naruto. and i bought quite a few stuff there!~ i visited the viz booth and toei animation's booths. for the toei animation one, they were selling One Piece products! i bought the migiwara symbol t-shirt, crew wanted posters bandana, some small metal wanted posters, and some character log cards. I wanted the Marine cloak..but was soo expensive..and wanted that small OP messenger bag too... cant wait for next year's AX! this year, the AX turned 21. |
