First things first, let's figure out when this'll be.

Q1: The timelines we know of is:

Avatar the Last Airbender Time- Fire Nation is evil

Avatar Post-War- Nations are slowly getting at peace

The Legend of Korra- Pro-Bending, possibly Equalists, etc.


Q2: Limits on bending:

What types of extra bending types should be allowed?

We've seen sand, metal, blood, plant, combustion, electric, and energy.

Bloodbending and energybending will not be allowed.

Metal bending can be debated, as Toph discovered that, but if you really want it, then sure. Allowed

Electric/lightning bending can be debated as people in LoK can easily use it, but I'm not sure about redirection. Allowed

Hmm, I guess water benders can have that, but the template may have an extra skills tab.

Well, that's the point of RPing.

You make your own character and play as them.

I'd say let Metal in and just be like "Some deaf girl had really good vision and saw the earth pieces inside the metal lol"

That way all the elements ('cept Air lol) have two sub-skills to their bending.

I'd allow it. Maybe make it so that only Firebenders who know how to use Lightning can redirect it.
