Love Poems!
 

Okay, so love poems definately are NOT my forte. But, I want to give a new genre a try, so here goes! All feedback is welcome!

WARNING: They are love poems, but some may turn out to be SAD love poems. Just lettin' ya know!


Stranger

As strangers we began,
Shy and afraid,
Not a word was spoken,
Though we were together every day.

Friday night,
Before Valentines day,
You asked me to dance,
And I, of course, said "okay".

After that
Two weeks we spent
Hugging eachother close,
Though strangers we remained.

I know your secrets
and you know mine,
Together again,
and I'm falling in love.

But try as we might,
No matter how close we get,
As strangers we began,
and as strangers we will remain.

Just one for now, probably more later tonight though haha. Thanks for the feedback! It's probably not the best because I just wrote it as I went along, but it's from the heart and experiences, so yeah... Well I'm rambling haha but thanks! :)

I don't know what's true,
or what's lies,
told by a third person,
not you.

It hasn't been long,
but I'm already falling hard.
And I don't know much about us,
but I do know this:

I'd give you my last breath,
just to kiss your lips.
I'd lie for you,
just to hold your hand.

I'd give you my everything,
as long I can make you my everything instead.
I'd walk till the ends of the earth or lay down at your feet,
just to hold your hand.

And I'd sing even though I can't,
just to hold you.
And I'd tell you I love you,
even if it breaks my heart...

Just to hear you say "I love you too".

I thought that I'd seen beauty
I thought I'd witnessed grace,
I thought that I'd known love
'Til I gazed upon your face.

I thought I'd felt my heart beat
I thought my knees were weak,
I thought I'd heard a songbird
Until I heard you speak.

I thought the rose was fragrant
I thought the sky was blue,
I thought nature wonderful
'Til I first laid eyes on you.

I thought the sun was shining
I thought I'd seen it all,
I thought that I was standing
Until you made me fall.

I thought my eyes were open
Yet now I'm not so sure,
I think that I may be in love
Like I've never loved before.

I'll hold on to these feelings
And keep them safe within,
Until the time they're needed
And true love can begin...

Here's some little... Fragments that popped into my head and I'm really not sure what to do with yet haha :) They don't go together unless they're like, together haha. Without a space in between. Any ideas on what to do with them anyone?

Do you ever look at me and see something more?

Tearing all the colors off the window,

I haven't seen you since we fell in love,

Deny your body,
Deny your mind.

All this love could be chaotic,
but no one tries to stop it.

Eyes so pretty,
blue and grey and everything in between...
But failing.
