Pokemon: Meganium

Ok well i have had pokemon heartgold for a while and pretty much maxed almost everything out. Almost got everything but lost all interest and i realized my Typhlosion was a lil OP but maybe thats from my special training xD. Anyways i restarted with Chikorita and im gonna get a meganium but i need to know of a really good nature and movesets

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

Meganium is in the Neveruse tier of pokemon
Overgrow is it's ability
Nature Bold for extra defence
Gaia drain for attacking
Aromatherapy to heal the poison, burns, sleep, or paralysis of the rest of your team
Leech Seed is useful for slowing weaking for enimies and for healing
Reflect and Light Screen for increasing the defence of your team
toxic to poison your enimies
Synthesis for healing

if you want an attacking grass type pick something else

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

Ahh. Well i restarted my Heartgold out of boredom and was gonna have Meganium, Blastoise, and Blaziken. Didnt wanna have Typhlosion as my starter again. Too easy. Well the other members are powerful as well and my rule is no legendaries and only one psuedo per team

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

grass is usally the weakest of the three starter pokemon

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

a major problem for grass types is a lot water pokemon know ice type attacks

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

Exactly. Including Red's Blastoise on HeartGold/ SoulSilver i believe. Freaking level 80's.

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

the hail during that fight with Red makes Bizzard 100% accurate. Sun and rain are the popular weathers for people to use. Sun makes sloarbeam a one turn attack but makes fire attacks 33% stronger. Rain makes thunder 100% accurate but makes water attacks 33% stronger.

Also Red's Snorlax and Labras also know Bizzard so they only thing Meganium dosen't have a dangerous attack problem with is Pikachu

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

Yea ik. ( thought it sunny day increased it by 35% and rainy day increased by tht also but oops lol ) I know. So should i just use Feraligator? Or Typhlosion again. idk

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

when batting Red use your electric type and swap Meganium to the bench

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

Well i mean ik how to beat him with all types. I mean do you think i should still play all the way through with Chikorita. Only near first gym lol

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

you can but you will have relay heavily on your other pokemon

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

Yea. I think i chose him #1 for a challenge and #2 cuz i love bayleaf. ( or bayleef ) I like his voice in the anime. And im really good at the games. I can beat anyone in game with barely any trouble and no legendaries. Red is annoying at times but i can beat him. i have soooo many times

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

I don't use legendaries and I beat played black verison without evolving my pokemon it became annoying every level they asked me to evolve my pokemon

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

I never got a chance to play those ones but i want to. Even though some new pkmn designs are lazy or just bleh ( trubbish ) And cant u use an everstone? Make one hold it and it will stop asking

ILIKEPIE 05-07-2012 10:36 PM

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

yeah but it's difficult getting 6 of them

sasori2701 05-07-2012 10:37 PM

Re: Pokemon: Meganium

good point.. use pokemon that dont evolve and are powerful on their own ( if u can find some )
