in my opinion it was terrible and was just a way for them to show off by making old episodes in better quality

I just think is very sad that you guys decided to go with just simple old episodes.. I mean at least stories about other characters, like when you did kakashi or neji, but just the old thing.. I can just go back and watch naruto from episode 1.. So my question here is, how long is this going to last cause really i don't wanna waste my time watching this silly episodes, so at least i know when to come back and watch the actual current events. Thank you.`#(

Viz Media did not make the episodes, so I wouldn't be saying that they decided this. The anime producers in Japan / China made the decision to do this as part of their 10 year anniversary of Naruto. It will last the whole month as part of this.

This is a 4 episode special, so technically there are three more weeks left of it. I would have personally preferred a week break this week, double episode next week, a double episode the week after, and then then another week break, but oh well.

Beyond disappointed.

Its become so disjointed with filler. And when they do animate the actual storyline, they seem to spend time on the wrong stuff. The anime is so far removed from what I fell in love with.

Grrrr.

Part of the episode was the "academy days" flashback chapter by Kishimoto when Sasuke was cheered on by his massive fangirl group. I think that the anime team left out some things that they shouldn't have. I am glad that old Shippuden OP/ED is over. The new OP/ED is better imo. Before I forget, GOLDEN WEEK happens in Japan in about 2 weeks so I expect Kishimoto and WSJ to take a vacation for the holiday. That means a break week is coming up soon.

How anyone could say this was not a good episode beyond me. If they just changed quality, I`d be pretty happy. But no, they didn`t do only that. They`ve shown us entirely different things, and some things we`ve already seen, but from different perspective. Everyone is to their own opinion, but I really don`t understand why so many complain. Basically they gave us what we all knew happened, only we`ve never seen it before!!! :D

Also, incredible new opening and ending!!! :D

Well..... the flashbacks are ok, I am just tired of watching what I have already watched before. I want it to keep going, and not keep the flashbacks. But I have to say, episodes 162 through 175 (i think) Naruto against the 6 peins were awesome!!!!

To me, this episode was amazing. We got to see more of people discriminating Naruto and him trying to overcome it. We`ve seen Hiruzen give him money. Now I finally know how Naruto earned money before becoming Genin. Naruto talking with Hiruzen about his parents. Naruto fighting Sasuke at the academy (and Choji too). Naruto training at home. Sasuke running of to evacuated Uchiha "street". Sasuke staring at Naruto, and Naruto noticing it. Sasuke`s room, Naruto`s house. Naruto making a doll of Kakashi and beating it.

And it`s been long since last time we`ve seen Naruto in a Pajama, beating doll Kakashi, no less!!! :D

I must say I love both new opening and new ending!!! :D

Opening is quite happy with a slightly serious tone, which I don`t mind - it is in a war arc, after all. Great melody, emotional and keep-going-forward one. Greatly drawn too. Amazing visuals, water, sky face expression and then suddenly Naruto running in a dark red place along with his friend and then suddenly jumping in that beautiful blue sky!! Incredible!!! :D

Ending is amazing, too!!! Great song, with good melody. Naruto and Sasuke fighting, what more can I say?!! :D

Didn't even bother watching it nor will i watch any of the fillers this month if I wanted to watch old episodes I would watch the original series. Many others I think will feel the same way so their goes the ratings for Naruto this month.

Guys part of this wasn't filler. Like Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry in the academy. That was in the manga.
