war?
 

Hi guys, in the anime, i suppose naurto already knows about the war( in the pass few episodes when he was on the ship)? However on the latest episodes, he doesn't seem to know about the war.. Also, the latest episode, condor the ostrich did mention that he didn't want to get involve in the war. So, can some one enlighten me? Perhaps i've misunderstood the anime..

I am in the same boast as you but here's what im pretty sure on..
Gaara told Naruto that Madara declared the 4th shinobi war when he reported everything that had happened in the kage summit in the snow place (?)
so Naruto knows but he doesnt know WHEN ... they then had Kakashi go as hokage and were about to discuss everything when Tsunade woke up from her comba.. they then discussed the plans for war and suggested they try and protect Naruto and Bee (cause thats what Tobi is after) and send him off on a secret mission so that they can have the war and Naruto will know nothing of it. When i watched the latest episode i thought that to but then i realise i had forgotten so much that had already happened and im currently reading thee manga and Naruto has found out about the war so i had forgotten all about it i was so lost too ! ,... i hope this helps in some way and its not too much to read ! ... and with the ostrich... he didnt mention that the war was already beginningg he just said he didnt wanna go.. cause naruto was gathering animals to PREPARE for the war.. i dont think kishi would slip up this bad... but this is what i remember and i think its right ...

I believe Naruto doesn't know of the war happening yet. Until a bit later.

Yea, He knows a war is coming but he doesnt know its about to start. He thinks he is there to gather animals to help when the war starts.

the only you need to understand is that naruto is stupid and he is not smart. That is the only reason i can understand that he didn't know about the war.
