Bleach Live Action Movie news
 
Apparently Warner Bros has picked up the rights to a live action Bleach movie. Development is slated to begin this year. No casting or story info yet.


Peter Segal is producing and may also direct. Dan Mazeau is on the screen writing team. Also producing are Michael Ewing and Masi Oka(The asian guy from Heroes).


Found out about this on saiyin isle.

As a Bleach Fan I will watch the movie to support it but i sense another Dragonball Evolution

^This.^

The live action movie adaption of any animation is not the most amazing thing. However, I like Bleach, so if and when it comes out, I will watch the movie, albeit even just to criticize.

What I am wondering is how far they will go into it. I mean can they fit the whole Soul Society Arc into a movie?

It's possible that it could go to Aizen's defeat if they speed it up and skip some stuff, but I doubt it. It'll probably be like the rest of the movies, where they really have nothing to do with the actual story line. Possibly, of course.

It could be well done, although that's unlikely, we'll get indeed another DBE, but if we're lucky, we'll get a Fist of The North Star

The same guy who screen played Wrath of the Titans is screen playing this movie too and I just saw Wrath of the Titans and it was pretty damn good....so I know for a fact that not only Viz is involved in with the production of this movie but Peter Segal (director of Get Smart, the Longest Yard, and Anger Management)......wait all Peter Segal has ever done was directed comedic movies well like a few of them were action based like Get Smart and he only directed like 8 movies in his entire career.

Well a screenplay writer is in charge of the script right?

Well lets see the director is commonly in charge of how the actors act and how the filmers film and how the movie is played.

The screenplay writer writes the story and dialogue.

Wrath of the Titans was good but it had a beast director who directed Battle Los Angeles the screenplay was okay or pretty good.

So this movie probably won't suck....but would be a box selling.....doubt it...will it be good...maybe....will Bleach fans like it....a good chance if they're loyal enough...
