The only part I liked was the last page. =/ Someone new coming into the manga is just what needed to happen.

I enjoyed it. Looks like the rest of the Vizard are living in the real world. Ikkaku is on some important mission to deliver info. And the Arrancar are making contact with Ichigo & Co.

I'm surprised that the new guy isn't a Quincy, but rather an Arrancar.

The same guy was in the middle of the color cover page in the last chapter. Perhaps he is the main villain, even if he's called a "messenger".

That was way fast. I hope the immediate arrival of someone that'll probably play a big part in this last arc will pay off better than it looks. I wasn't very fond of this chapter at all. I figured there'd be a little more to it.

Although I do like that the arrancar was foreshadowed at the beginning of the chapter and am pretty okay with the arrancars still being around. May end up interesting.

I suppose that a lot of you weren't fond of the chapter, but I, for one, was very happy to see Hiyori again.
And Ikkaku and Yumichika.
And also Ichigo and Orihime and Ishida and Chad hanging out and being buds and fighting hollows.

But I can't bring myself to care very much about the two new shinigami introduced last chapter (although it's mostly because they've only been around for two chapters. Maybe in time I'll like them more.)

Not really. There's no suggestion that Grimmjow will ever appear in this arc.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it's some sort of Super Shinigami pseudo-Quincy Arrancar dude with Fullbring traits. Would keep up with this transcending power thing of Aizen/Ichigo's.

Actually Kubo gave an interview that mentioned he has a high probability of appearing. There is a thread about it.
