Manga Recommendations
Here's the thing. I'm not an avid reader of manga (well compared to most people here lol), but I know there are a lot of good series out there, and I would like to read some more in the future. I want to hear you Vizzers thoughts on it. I'll take anything that's not Mecha, ecchi, or Bleach.
Currently reading: Naruto (duh) Shingeki no Kyojin (If you haven't read this, you are missing out on life.) Beelzebub Kuroshitsuji Wolf Guy GE Good Ending Already read: Death Note Fullmetal Alchemist Hiatus: Vampire Knight Deadman Wonderland 20th Century Boys Want to read: Onani Master Kurosawa Claymore Shin Angyo Onshi Ga-Rei One Piece Future Diary Liar Game |

Re: Manga Recommendations
Mother Keeper <--- Highly Recommend. It's ongoing on chapter 34.
Rave Master - About 70+ chapters in, and it's good so far. Island & Personant are one-shots that I both thought were pretty good. |
Re: Manga Recommendations
- One Piece (A veteran shounen and the record holder for largest amount of manga volumes sold in Japan annually. Despite the simple plot premise, the world is vast, characters are steadily developed, everyone gets a turn to shine, and let's face it, Oda, the mangaka, is a much better storyteller than his rivals could ever hope to be, for instance Bleach.)
- Bakuman (More or less, a manga about the process of making a manga. I know, right? May seem a tad redundant, but actually is interesting. The manga's mangakas are, respectively, the authors of Death Note. Involves romance and comedy. However, the story may not be suited for you if longer paces throughout the plot isn't your type.) - Mirai Nikki (Batsh*t insane. The anime is top notch too.) - Bleach (Eh, I was just joking. Unless staring at hours' worth of blank panels, backgrounds, and concentrated shots of various body parts happen to be entertaining.) - The Breaker (Awesome fighting manga. Tune in for martial arts, parkour, car chases, and homosexual gang bikers armed with machetes. Even the bishounens and sociopaths are great.) - Great Teacher Onizuka (Just read it.) - Twentieth Century Boys (You'd better have read this already.) |
Re: Manga Recommendations
I have only read a very little amount of manga.. And like half or more was Ecchi/Romance mix >.<!
But from those that aren't Ecchi: Mirai Nikki Bakuman Girl Friends Shitsurakuen (I found this wierd yet interesting) Sasameki Koto |

Re: Manga Recommendations
I recommend reading and/or watching (although the Anime finishes a tad early) Katekyo Hitman Reborn! because it has a healthy balance of silly humor and action. It starts off just plain silly so the author can develop the plot and get all of the current characters to make an appearance, but then it finally gets going. It's still ongoing.
