A Haruno Clan?
Okay, something I've always wondered is if Sakura has a clan. I mean, every main character, except Lee and Tenten, have clans and hereditary jutsu or Kekkei Genkai from their clans, but Sakura lacked this. She had to get her specialty from training with Tsunade. So, what's the deal?

Re: A Haruno Clan?
it's because no why loves her and she is just a side character who holds Naruto back from being so badass

Re: A Haruno Clan?
I don't think so,

Re: A Haruno Clan?
You got to remember not ALL clans are ninjas. A clan is just your family really, so maybe Sakura's family are just normal people and she's the first shinobi.

I know this cous i won a prize wich alowed me to ask questions to Masashi Kishimato (not in person of cours) and if you guies remember in one the episodes you hear sakura's mum call here and tell here to bring choks to Ino's hous. and HARUNO isn't a clan its just an ordinari last name . lol |

Eh Sakura doesn't need a clan, she is too beast for one :D

Re: A Haruno Clan?
Hmm, I like to think that she was just given Chacra controll naturaly but comes from a somewhat normal family. Maybe her dad was a ninja but was killed on a mission while her mother was just an ordinary house wife. This is all from me and a fanfiction of course, but you can't blame people for immagination right? :D

Re: A Haruno Clan?
She has a clan, and they will probably have a flashback about it..
And, if not, nothing really important happened with them. xD |
Re: A Haruno Clan?
i dont realy think shes in a clan, and if she had a kakkai genkai she would of showed it a long time ago
|
Re: A Haruno Clan?
She is part of a clan because she has a family. It is Sasuke who doesn't have a clan.
I think Sakura's clan just doesn't have kekkei genkai. Some families don't have kekkei genkai like Hatake, Sarutobi or Momochi, just to name a few. |
Re: A Haruno Clan?
Like stated before, I really do thing she's just part of some family. If her family was all big and tough like, let's say, Sasuke was, they'd probably show it or talk about it in the first few episodes.

Re: A Haruno Clan?
First of all, a clan is really just another word for family, she clearly had to come from somewhere. If her family had been killed off, I think it definetly would have been mentioned before now. Despite what many people think, Sakura is a main character, and a damn important one in Shippuden. For anyone who wants to argue that just watch the entire attack on the Sand at the beginnning of Shippuden. That alone proves that Sakura does in fact have her place. (Not to mention that the entire show revolves around a promise that Naruto made to her in Naruto. Without that promise, the whole storyline would have most likey progressed differently.

Re: A Haruno Clan?
I agree overall with the thread. Clan and family are not mutually exclusive terms. Sakura IS part of a clan, even if that clan is not a prominent ninja clan. The Yamanakas are known for being florists, even though there are good shinobi in the clan as well. I agree that Sakura is part of a clan that is not a predominantly ninja clan, if not the first in her family (clan) to walk the path of the shinobi. The Haruno clan possess' no kekkai genkai like the uzumakis or many of the previously mentioned ones, which is not uncommon or relevant to be a shinobi. Additionally, evidence is given to suggest that Sakura is among the first (or the few) of her clan to be a shinobi, as her only interaction with her mother is typical of mundane daily life and not typical of the associations you see in any of the other predominantly ninja clans, focused on relations with the neighbors more than what training or missions are at hand. The Hyuga (among other examples) clan puts missions and training above mundane daily chores. Even Hinata got out of preparing the tea for lord Hyuga for the Bicochu Mission. Sakuras mom seems to be more...detached from these matters. So yes, there is in fact a Haruno clan, but no, i do not believe that they have made up many ranks of ninja in the past nor do they possess any special jutsu or kekkai genkai.
