Bleach: Better or worse?

Since the first part of Bleach ended, people have been giving mixed reviews about the new direction that the story has taken. Now that the new arc is at its climax, what do you think of the way Bleach's plotline has changed since the timeskip?

I'd say it's just as good.

Like I've said before, reading the Fullbring Arc when it was first released in a week-by-week schedule could've easily pissed people off as it was often too slow compared to what we've just seen in the previous arcs.

We just witnessed what we thought would be the climax for the series in a match with omnipotent Aizen vs. omnipotent Ichigo. Before that, we had every powerful character participate in an all-out war.

Then we transition into Ichigo being a mere high school student with no powers. Moreover, readers don't get to see what the entire series was about, the Shinigami and their unique powers. We just see Ichigo living a daily normal life; not what readers trying to kill time and read entertainment would want.

Enter the Fullbringers. While not out of the ordinary, their powers paled in comparison to the Shinigami. Not sure about everyone else, but in that week-by-week schedule, I sure as hell didn't like to see Ichigo fight a giant stuffed pig with a badge, wait another week, and then see more training to obtain a fraction of what he had.

However, I decided to give the arc another chance and re-read it continuously.
It did wonders.

The arc turned out to be pretty well-planned out, the lead Fullbringers turn out to be pretty darn powerful, Ichigo gets supposedly even stronger than he was, and the Shinigami return.

For whoever that hasn't given this arc another try, I highly recommend to re-read the entire arc continuously.

The same.

Good artwork, good characters. Not so good writing.
