It's going to be interesting to see how the protagonists training pulls off.

Can everyone besides Oga, Tojo, Izuma, Hisaya, and Aoi even stand a chance?

Beelzebub is a great read. My favorite on-going, weekly shounen at the moment.

In terms of being able to go head to head with the Pillar Heads or higher, likely no with the possible exception of Natsume.

However, I suspect the maids could get Kanzaki and co. to at least be competing with the likes of the weaker Six Knights.

And obviously, the General will surpass all. b:P

Anime is sub-par compared to manga.

Eventually, he will undergo another training arc/page.

I dropped this manga for a while then went back and read the latest chapters... Hildegarde is epic ;D

To anyone whos seen more than one episode of the anime (unlike me lol) how bad, or good is it?

It's great, but when compared to the manga, sub-par at best.

The anime leans more on the comedic side, and usually doesn't portray the action scenes or battles of Beelzebub decently. Hildagerde is usually left as more of a small side-character, and doesn't really show up much, if at all. In result, Aoi has a larger emphasis.

Some of the filler joints are wack, and there can be a tad bit too much fan service, as seen with the episode when nearly every female character in the cast dressed up as a lolita maid.

What chapter have you gotten towards?

idk. I think it was filler so i'm skippin that episode/filler arc o_O

I prefer to watch the anime, then i read the manga when i get caught up with the anime :lol:

Manga is better.

The anime didn't catch my attention in a couple episodes either. Their transiting isn't as well.

Aw well then I won't watch if my favorite character doesn't get much spotlight. Seems to me like Hilda is just there for fan service xD
