How come my rep color is gray? What does this mean and how do I get it back to green?

You were downrepped by someone with little rep power to begin with, so instead of putting you in neg rep it gave you gray.

Ohhhh ok im starting to understand the rep system alot better now. I knew green was good and red was bad but I didn't know what gray ment.

The first link is a forum guide, there's a section in the first post about the reputation system explaining how it works, however a few months ago they reset the rep system because of inflation so the second link explains all the changes.

Yeah what he said, it's called rep traded, they'll take your rep away. LOL it happened to me once.

But don't worry, no one's going to care this time around.

Red = Negative Reputation (usually you have done bad things in the forums)
Grey = Neutral Rep (You have received no reputation and users have no opinion of you)
Green = Positive Rep (Usually if you have helped out a lot and give advice)

Rep trading is not permitted, along with reputation abuse. Asking for rep is also pointless because you'll likely be hated for it.
