What is "old"

Re: What is "old"
Old is a relative term. In my eyes my 22 year old sister is old and to my little cousins me being 14 is old. So it changes from person to person and is pretty much their opinion.

Re: What is "old"
Who cares?
Meh. I guess I do. Old can mean a lot of things. Someone who looks elderly can be old. Or old can be used as an insult by comparing someone to said people. Old can be used to describe any sort of game, work of fiction, or phrase that's gone out of style, or has been around for a long time within its context. An old movie isn't necessarily as old as an old book or an old video game. Old is also easy to rhyme with mold, cold, sold, hold, fold, gold, and told. The phrase "it's getting old" can refer to something that's been overused or overly repetitive, often said after noting that said something was originally something enjoyable or popular. But seriously, who cares? /debated |

Re: What is "old"

Re: What is "old"
When you're considered a senior citizen.

Re: What is "old"
You can't consider something old unless you compare it to something (or things) else which is younger. If you think about everything that you think is old, you're comparing it to something like it which isn't as aged, whether it be a TV show, person, artifact, whatever. So your answer is variable.

Re: What is "old"
Technically speaking, when you're 50, you are finally considered legit old.
In objects, it all depends on the object. |

When your creativity and curiosity dies.
"You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grew old because you stopped playing." ~ some person from some time. |
