There is abosolutely no storyline at all besides the survival challenges. Otherwise its just missions.

For it being the 1st of many games,it had to start somewhere.

Apart from Ultimate Ninja 2, UN1 + UN3 are just battle games. The only reason to get the games is just to you can get a bonus for the next game.

The first one was fun until the second game came out. Some of the missions were a real pain in the butt though. When I first got it, I stayed up till like 3 a.m. working on some the later missions.
