He can just wait it out in the air and spam GT's

why does he have to get close for any of those to kill itachi. besides susanoo takes a ton of stamina

how does he dodge? by being faster than itachi by several dozens times no less and why would Itachi get susanoo off before Ichigo severs his head from his body?

Hmmm.... He's Shikai so him going into Bankai gives Itachi more than enough time to activate Susano'o and be protected.

But Itachi does lose stamina by overusing Susano'o but can't hit Ichigo because of Ichigo's speed.

itachi blocked kirin without full susanoo
my scenario
ichigo caught in tsukuyomi ichigo (vegetable.like kakashi)
than a short amy and ichi is out

i believe itachi's genjutsu, and usage of his mangekyou sharingan powers would be very effective. susano'o is nearly impenetrable. and tsukuyomi....

Ichigo could dodge those easily. And Itachi's never used it before

Ichigo is more than fast enough to kill Itachi before he even gets the chance to use any of his Sharingan moves or launch any Fire Style jutsu. Bleach speed blows Naruto speed out of the water.

to be fair Gai and The Raikage can compete in bleach speed with the likes of soi son and such

but they are the only ones and Itachi going by feats is a helpless child to them in speed

disregarding any "X character is overwhelmingly faster than Y character", Ichigo still has advantages here as even when Itachi casts genjutsu and tsukiyomi on Ichigo, Shirosaki surfaces and slashesh Itachi from seemingly all directions

so this is a proof of sharingan reactions so stop wanking about the speed diference
i admit that many characters in bleach are faster than all naruto char but ichigo shikai isn't in the many char.
