Any burden lifted gets immediately filled like a vacancy, so it'll be a good half an hour while the burden's in the air before anyone catches wind of it and piles more on .

All the arguments are on the table, we're just waiting a week from that time to come back at it with a clear head on all sides. It's pretty much decided how we'll proceed, we all just want a breather from that and other things for a short while.

Well with any luck this section will help take the the burden off you guys.

Have you guys figured out yet how to tap Sajuuks talents without opening him up to a repeat of history? Or what?

it's funny I was thinking about that the other day economics being another field of strategy and a pretty deceive one at that. Venice, Florence and a few other regional powers and the united states and Japan on a larger scale are major empires that rule through trade rather than conquest..and do a pretty fair job of it.

I've got a wide area to cover too, spanning from the hundred years war up to the tet offensive for my chapters. (though for my part I thought that Tet was more a lesson in politics and how public perception can completely overwhelm reality and dictate the course of things..then an actual decisive military battle but I suppose that makes it such)

I'll hit you up about Sajuuk with a suplemental PM before I get to your last one.

The Decisive Battles book sounds like alot of fun! Even if it fell through, you know you're going to have a good time. If you cite battles offhand in PM, then you know you've a passion for the history. Business and war tend to be the best sources of strategic insight, the latter a little more heated due to the stakes and length of the history. I look to that manner of thing often for incites on that.

aannndd my VM was too long lol Things have been alright here I got asked by the boys who do the deadliest fictional warrior youtube series to help write a book on the most 100 decisive battles in history with them. so I've been juggling my own obligations my own life and the holidays and doing research (these guys are apparently pretty damn serious about this)

if that falls through I'll have invested some of my limited free time into nothing but it'll be worth it for the time spent learning i suppose.

Well if it's not above my pay grade I would like to know, rumors are going to spread like wild fire and it would be nice to hear the truth from the parties involved before the perception of what happened supplants what actually happened.

Well I would say, it maybe time to consider the unthinkable but the only one of us who'd ever make it to the nomination phase has something really sad going on in his personal life and he may not have the energy or the state of mind to do much of anything for a very long time. So in light of that and how impossible it makes it..if there is anything I can do that doesn't compromise anything or enrage loads of your staff I will gladly see to it.

you guys just lost someone who did a great deal of work that now others who are less active have to keep up on. I would think the last thing you need right now is more wave making. I'll do what I can to keep the peace

We're still working everything out. I ended up giving Shika some background info yesterday on the specifics of what went down if you're interested. More a long term series of things on all sides than any one thing.

I appreciate the offer! We'll see if we can make use of it. Still kinda up in the air is all .

I'm pretty busy at the beginning of New Years as always. Didn't even see your last VM, and I've yet to get to your overdo PM . How are things on your end?
