Well what I do every year take all the small ones in the family to Disney World- probably Celebrate my birthday at this jazz house in downtown Disney tomorrow night and then probably head to Argentine either Christmas Eve or the 27
KT was KurodaTaishi. He was the first ever user-staff type person to be banned. Had a thing for younger women and openly telling them that, in a nutshell . His 'Appeal to a neutral admin' threads are the stuff of lore and legend now.
I tried that and it went in one ear and out the other, so I fell back on experience (the tough love approach tends to work on debaters) the same thing happened..now I'm stuck wondering how this will play out
Who was KT? the nick name sounds familiar but i'm uncertain
I know in my experience, I've always tried to talk to those types of users on their terms and make them understand what they're doing and how they might better X Y or Z, depending on what the issue is. That rarely tends to work in the moment. But after talking it out with them once or twice, and others chiming in, then they tend to get it.
Unless they don't. Then they make like KT and escalate to a bannable offense and we're done either way . The hardest part is putting into their own terms so they'll both understand and WANT to actually make a change. But I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. If then they do things progressively more doubtful, then they tend to bring punishment on themselves.
