The second strong point is the ending where a carnataur is chasing the main guy through down a narrow pathway leading through the time portal, while the government building is blowing up. That said, the drama was only in the first and last episodes while the middle ones tended to be...well boring to a point. As a fan who enjoyed it, even the science fiction wasn't done well. My immersion wasn't good. I was terribly aware of how un-inventive the antagonist's secret weapon was.
Hmm, jaws was one my favorite movies. The park where the crazy guy gets bitten in half still gets to me. But instead of disgust it's more hilarious. Terra nova was the show with a strong environmentalist message about over population and using our planets resources. The rich enjoy bio domes with nature and the masses enjoy biodomes full of poisonous gas. It's basically a dystopia with strong anti chinese birth control stance. The strong point is the drama of the main character getting his family through the time portal and avoiding his second daughter's death. The show sort is criticized for sub par acting and a directionless plot. Just think of your average slice of life anime, but each chapter or episode is 3 million smackeroos
Oh no no! I wasn't saying Spielberg was terrible he was and still is a visionary he also created the first ever blockbuster when he made JAWS - Terra Nova? you mean the tv series where T rexes no sold rail guns and crap?
yeah keep reading the thread, it degenerates to where the guy has his wife show up to slander Thanatos
This thantos actually got to the author in a way naruto forums across the internet wish they could reach kishi????XD
*continues past chapter 1
Hey hey...Spielberg for all his failings made jurassic park a decent movie! Although I get sad about his later movies, especially terra nova. It's a guilty pleasure, but its first and last episode WERE 2 GUD.
EY, although living a sedentary life doesn't lead to being an interesting person, who would have thought shooting people would? xD Although this golden age thing isn't something im aware of.
GOD I AM A RETARDED, apparently I associated the magna carta with charlemagne.
But would it be unfaithful to the tolkien lore for an istari to die performing magics or is the damage associated more with their mind and less with their lifespan or mortal bodies?
Onto the review, this thantos guy made reviewing this book a work of art. Every other line makes me smile. It's harsh and true at the same time. Reading the author's note to the reader gave me aids.Reading some of his dialogue felt pretentious. In addition to his general assery, this aziz sounds like a complete jack off. He's glad his wife was spared from the wholesale rape like a selfish little c@wk sucker that he is. -.-
well look at all the golden age actors who were Vets of either the Spanish American war, the first or second world war and compare them to the modern age? there is a marked difference. I'm not in my 80's no
the dude was the founder of the holy Roman Empire from what I remember and one of the earliest forces of unity in the dark ages
both men are tapping into external sources on top of their own powers which is what i like about how they fight.
Dul Guldor on your map would be I think about a hundred maybe two hundred miles east of your characters current location
This conversation begs the question: Are you old enough to be my grandpappy?
It's hard and not hard to beleive former ww2 vets actually being directors of james bond and lotr films. :P It's like the quality of them skyrocketed over the average nibblets from holleywood.
Charlemagne, name is familiar but the dude was brushed over in school. Can't remember his significance or if I've got him mixed up with someone else.
Rest assured I read about dul ghador being destroyed by some super elf. xD I'm debating whether or not it would be cool or cliche to make this level of magic his limit or if it should be powerful enough to kill bakon. Like it will be a progressive downward spiral by the time we reach the end of the rp.
Also if you dont mind, can ya give me a guesstimate as to how far dol guldor is from where we approximately are?
Oh..I've had an interesting life lets leave it at that just kidding..maybe
Christopher Lee had an interesting life, he also was on the same team of elite British assassins with Ian Flemming the guy who wrote James Bond, they hunted down Nazi's and sabotaged their top secret experiments together. A lot of what they did is still classified
When Lee was filming LOTR he told Jackson that people who got stabbed in the back usually don't freak out like they do in movies, they usually just gasp and look shocked then fall over- When Jackson asked him how Lee's reply "classified, lets just say I know "
when you factor in him being a direct descendant of Charlemagne of all people he's...odd
I saw that, that was pretty awesome but blowing up the hall of sorcery is something only Galadriel could do and she was stronger than anything in middle earth minus Gandalf, Saruman and Sauron
