I can't help but feel this decision is a consequence of letting unbiased masses act as the jury. I don't see how they could have accepted this argument, other than not giving a rat's ass.
So you've made it to Argentina? You seem to go there a lot, unless maruko just mentioned it prematurely.
post note: I haven't really read anything in my life really. Books just don't...how do I say this, give instant gratification. Although the diablo 2 books I've read(based off the games) and world war z were amazing. Just can't bring myself to find more books, one of which would have beens tarship troopers. Which I didn't even know about till now.
Secondary post note:It wasn't reality who made my siggy. Someone with 15 rep power did, but didn't leave a name xD
Oh that? That was both insulting and insane, I mean to the extent that no one not even the judges think clearly. His problem is that he too wealthy and well connected so he has never been punished...so..by virtue of his wealth and connections he is now..a free man. And no one sees the hilarity and hypocrisy in that...the boy should have gotten life
Ever read starship troopers? There's a quote about how the modern justice system leads to societal collapse...I think I'll bring it up in the punishment thread if you fancy a read.
Spent it in Disney then went home to work....Air plane tickets to Argentina lost in some database error I'll probably go after new years...gugh
Sad thing is cali isnt just stupid, our system is completely bonkers. Within the same time frame a 16 year old took a drunk joy ride killing 4 or 5 people. His lawyers successfully argued hes a minor who is soooooo affluent, that he doesnt know right from wrong.
get rich, tear up and say youre too stupid to know any better.
my christmas was fine, saw dome famiky i havent seen in years. my pc is 99 percent done. all thats left is getting a monitor and firing it up.
Man I'm not sure what's worse there. whose dumber. The Law for treating a case of obvious poor judgment and idiocy as a hate crime or the kid for lighting any persons clothing on fire? Why not just charge the moron with attempted murder and arson and be done with it? Hell you'd get a longer prison sentence out of it if thats what their goals were.
the kid said he was "homophobic" probably under duress another fine moment of stupidity for both parties..the cops for questioning a minor without his guardian or a lawyer and the kid for answering them and waving his rights while sounding like a twit...sheesh
I promise to respond after work, was up all night budgeting my first computer build. But to answer the last part bluntly, despite what the article says he did it because he was a stupid 16 year old who thought it would be funny to set the kid's skirt on fire.
