There were some changes in our studio as well, and when some of TW veterans came back, they felt as if the moves were totally different.
That's cool. I was thinking of joining a martial arts club here on campus. But I gotta figure out where it's at first. Haha
Yes, college is completely different compared to primary school and highschool.
Well, in the time I was absent from the dojo, the style that was trained there switched completely. It came as a surprise to me, even though in past we would often implement elements from various styles.
But still I don't think it was a smart move to neglect everything that was trained up to that moment. So, after the college if I decide to train in some dojo, I would probably try another one and most likely different martial art, just like you.
Martial arts greatly complement each other, so I think it's a good idea to train more of them.
You are also right about the foundation. Things that you get with experience and constant repetition remain!!!
Nine years? That's great!! I used to train Karate in a dojo which was a great base for other things I trained at home. But now, when I am going to the college I can't go to dojo because of the schedule. I still try to train at home when I get the chance, though!!!
