My battle is going slow with 9 so let's start this I need to develop powers.

Location: meadow basin surrounded by mountains.
Time of day: twighlight
Starting distance: 25 meters
Rules: standard bfv

I stand before a man dressed as one of those annoying stuck up soul reapers from the society. My initial reaction is to disdain every bit of his being-I know you're not supposed to judge people and all that, whatever, I never liked a man in uniform. It seems he's gentleman enough to give a lady the first move though, so I nod and begin increasing my se, pouring it into my blade. As the power grows and the white of my blade glows light red I stab the blade into the ground, cutting through the earth, the se reacts to the bedrock and ground water.

With my blade still in the belly of earth I shunpo forward towards him, dragging the blade through the earth-"Katumuksen lehto" as I say this 2 miles of thinish jagged ice and marble spikes erupt from the ground, following my advance on all sides. I then flash step above the man as the marble and ice spikes threaten to surround him on all sides, I slash my sword, releasing the red se as a huge arch of light and call out-"Kafaz Lotus Teh".

As the ice/marble spikes threaten to entrap him the red se morphs into a red orb cage formed by lotus petal blades. As it forms over him I can control the rate and size that it takes; the petals are laced with water energy and if cut an infectious burn will pour throughout the wound and could eventually spread throughout his body. Meanwhile I reach into a bunch of spikes nearby and pull out a katana of marble which also drips with the same poison. "I am still working out whether I want to kill you or not, Mr Reaper." I say with an impetuously playful wink and smile.

I am wandering the forest when I sense an unfamiliar spiritual pressure. I begin to head towards it, curious. I come to a meadow basin surrounded by mountains and see a women standing there. I begin to speak but her glares of disgust are enough to keep me from doing so. Suddenly her sp begins to dramatically increase. She stabs her blade into the ground and know that an attack is coming.

"Well tentai tsuki hon'yaku we have to fight. No holding back."

The arm plating on my arm, that is my zanpaktou, begins to glow white from it's gold accents and a deep black from the rest. As the women comes flying at me her sword tears the earth up behind her. She reaches me and shunpo's upwards sending the torn earth at me.

"Tsuki no dai ichi dankai: shingetsu hon'yaku..."

The black and silver glow expands out into a white orb cloaked with black cloud like accents. As soon as your attack comes in contact the orb spreads out covering the ripped up earth/ice and levels it instantly with immense gravity. Next I quickly raise my hand as your energy attack comes down at me.

Bakudo #8: Seki
Bakudo #81: Danku

Danku creates a wall of SE above me and I coat it with Seki with paralyzes and repels whatever strikes it. This hopefully sends your attack back at you. Of course it's weaker then originally but still capable of doing damage.

I look up at the female.

"Why did you attack me and what are you doing here?"

"Well you don't seem weak, that certainly could certainly help you in my decision making. What do you mean what am I doing here, I live around here...what are you doing here? Hm?"

I leave the question up in the air as I shunpo higher up, using sp to hold my position in the sky. What is this guy's game? None of the instructors form the society left themselves open for attack without fighting back, he didn't even use a hado. I shake my head and raise my sp again; this time calling to the water energy in my zanpakuto, increasing the toxicity levels. As it rises the blade glows bright white and the sky darkens with big, heavy gray clouds.

"Lotus Storm"-The clouds descend rapidly, condensing into hundreds of thousands of tiny sharp water like blades, spanning the meadow like a fine mist. I hide myself within the quickly approaching mist, and shunpo behind, marble katana moving around your neck, my zanp at your back. "Give me a reason not to cut you to shreds"

"What decision making is that? Me? This is my training ground!"

Before I'm able to finish answering her question she takes off into the air. Her sword changes color again and dark, gloomy clouds begin to roll in. The clouds form into thousands of liquid blades, covering the meadow. You shunpo behind me with a blade to my neck and your zanp at my back.

"Your a flashy one aren't you? Cut me to shreds if you can."

I stick both my arms out and my zanp glows black again.

"Toketsu tsuki no bakuhatsu..."

A spherical blast of transparent black SE blast out around us. It doesn't threaten to harm you but the incredibly low temperature of the SE flash freezes everything if comes into contact with. It covers the entire meadow and freezes every blade you formed with your attack. I follow up by increasing my Spiritual pressure and it crushes every blade of ice into dust causing a fine dust of ice to fall from the sky. It coats the meadow like snow. I then spin around towards you, using the part of my zanp that extends up around my neck I knock your marble blade from there and use the back of my hand to reach out and slap away your sword from my back. I jump back a couple feet.

"Bakudo #61: Rikujokoro..."

Six thin, wide beams of light form around you and quickly close in aimed to slam into your mid section, and hold you in place. If hit you will be unable to move any part of your body.

"You'll be the first to find out what I mean. How can the be if I've never felt your presence here?"

As you reduce my miniature blades to snow and escape I shunpo back a couple dozen feet and quickly raise my se higher. The red light around my zanp grows darker; "Stage three, Wing", the energy expands into giant wings that enclose me in an orb like shield nearly as strong as danku. As the bakudo makes contact the shield would severely weaken it by draining the se used to perform the kido. As it weakens I push the orb out and away from me as an attack to finish off the rikujokoro as the energy consumes it entirely.

"You obviously haven't seen flashy if you thought that was something." I say, shaking my head.

I stand not 20 feet away from you as my se restores itself. I then shunpo ten feet above you with the point of my zanp facing you; "Olwyn o waed, dawns petal." The engery from the sword pools at the type and forms a large circle, out from the center giant lotus petals form until it looks like a giant flower at about fifteen feet diameter. "Llosgi", (too pink?) the petals begin to rotate even before the command leaves my lips; as they speed up the over all energy flower begins to appear as if it is growing and with a final nudge from me the energy erupts forth, threatening to engulf you in it's light. If touched it will burn you severely. At such a distance it scorches the earth and anything it comes in contact with.

"You've never felt my presence because I usually don't walk around flaunting my power."

I watch through the glistening snow as wings of energy form from your back and enclose around you. The bars of light appear around you and when they try to trap you, they are stopped by the shield. You continue to push them away holding off the kido until you finally over come it. I smirk as she says that she isn't flashy.

"Pulling in storm clouds and covering the field in misty blades isn't flashy? Well I guess when compared to me creating snow from it, your attack wasn't that good"

I barely finish my statement and she has shunpo'd above me with her sword out. The energy from the blade pools at the tip and begins forming into a orb.

"Bakudo #21: Sekienton
Bakudo #26: Kyokko"

A red smoke engulfs the both of us seconds before your attack launched. The second kido hides me from sight by bending the light, and hides my reiatsu from being sensed. I quickly shunpo away and into the air to avoid your attack.

Now hidden from you I go on the offensive.

"Custom Bakudo: Tsuki no Dakusaido...."

The meadow and surrounding forest erupts into a bright white light that engulfs everything and can blind you severely for 1 turn. I shunpo around you creating several after images. I then shunpo around you a couple more times blasting kido at you. If hit you will be severely burned.

"Hado #73: Soren Sokatsui"

I then shunpo back to the tree line and perch myself up on a branch and watch you. My zanp begins charging a deep dark energy. It's power is so great that it is barely shielded by the kido hiding me.

"Sure, sure and yet I haven't seen anything besides smoke and glitter from you."

I sigh in muted frustration as once again monsieur society reaper hides behind kido. Before the smoke clears however, I hear him behind me shouting some name of some unknown kido. I land and stab my zanp into the ground and summon a half dome of earth as a light begins to envelop the field. It is not quite dark enough as I guard my eyes with my arm.

As the light begins to fade I hear him release a hado and as he does so I summon Bakudo 81; Danku in the direction of the voice. The Shielding bakudo ought to be enough, but as my vision is a bit on the blurry side I feel the need to shunpo in the opposite direction near a tree.

As the light coats the land and you shield your eyes my zanp charging reaching reaches it's limit.

"Mangetsu no mezame"

My zanpaktou begins to change form spreading down my arm spreading the armor plating. This is the true form of my shikai. My zanpaktou is lazy and needs to spend some time warming up before he takes his real form.

What you assume is the light fading is actually the energy of the bakudo being condensed in clone of myself. You use danku to block the kido and shunpo away as an extra precaution.

"Why don't you tell me more about this decision you were talking about. I believe you said that your goal was to kill me, but perhaps it is to join me..."

I shunpo directly at you and my clone follows closely. I go behind you and he is in front of you.

"Akuma no tsuki no Dansu"

In unison the clone and I attack you ferociously. I strike for your legs with a kick as he swings the armor coated arm towards your head. Then we reverse. Finally, at the same time, we punch with our zanp arms towards your torso. The moves is deadly because we are moving almost at the speed of a shunpo with our attacks and our moves are completely synchronized. Also the way we attack you, and your blurry vision would make escaping difficult.

Note
The bakudo with the bright light was used as a prep move to form a massive amount of energy to form the clone. The clone will only last 2 turns. This one and the next. It will also be much weaker next turn. It has no ability to use energy attacks and can only do physical damage.

Perhaps it was an overly cautious move, especially as the attack I had expected did not come, but the distance from the light had helped my eyes to at least see shadows. I lifted my head from my arm in time to hear the soul reapers new command, probably to his zanpakuto, and notice that the armor on his arm had change to form the shadowy outline of spikes or whatnot. I also noticed, partly in misplaced relief the the light had dissipated yet in it's place stood another form. A shudder of embarrassing shame for the sight I must be making of myself flooded over me as I realized what sort of benefit my foolishness might have been to him.

"Join you?" I spat, hardly containing my frustration. It was becoming plain to me that this particular soul reaper did not play by the same rules the society did, but by a book he'd written himself. Before I could organize my thoughts and ramblings into a more menacing retort he and the other form advanced...'dammit I bet it's a clone, I hate clones. And he said I was flashy...."


With either of them on both sides I brace myself for the inevitable onslaught by channeling se around the marble blade and thrust it into the ground, concentrating on the energy reacting to the ground rock. At the same time I thrust my zanp broad side in front of me to defend myself. Their collective movements are quick and as the attack begins I will the energy around the sword I'd thrust into the earth to react quicker so that a marble wall as tall as me erupted from it's depths to meet with the attacker behind me. Sensing the energy of that same attacker as a purer se than the figure in front of me, whom I've been blocking with quick thrusts and guarding movements. I figure since the purer energy may be the clone it poses less of an immediate danger then the other, therefor I focus most of my attention on him.


Though his movements are quick, and I mean really fast...captains level basically, I've been able to match them all right. Since a clone basically acts as it master wants it to, I figure it must also be mimicking the reapers, which is not good as the reaper goes in for a heavy punch which I assume will also be copied by the clone. I thrust my zanp down hard, hoping to force his arm down with it, along with the force of an upward shunpo. As I gain altitude quickly, I hear the marble shatter. Looking back I see them standing there, the marble wall a pile of rumble and dust.

"...Aren't you from the society? Why would I join what I rejected with my whole being? I could have graduated with honors, yet society reapers make me sick; it's changed, the people have changed, it used to be great. Now... Certainly you're strong, but you're just playing, aren't you, Mr Reaper?"

After a moment of dead silence I shunpo to the middle of the darkened meadow, ending up knee deep in snow that's begun to slush nicely; partly due to the Llosgi. The slush and fact my blades were crushed suit my purpose just fine as I begin to raise my se near its limits. My zanp begins to tremble and a white/gold light makes it appear as if it has grown, though the true form is hidden as it is not a true bankai as of yet. As my se pours into my zanp I begin to absorb the remnants of se from the melting snow. Toxic water se is absorbed withing the sword while the water se stays without, swirling around the blade. As the energy reaches it's peak the surrounding land begins to flatten as a large circle of dead earth begins to form around the energy, tightened and hard packed by the spiritual pressure. I then whisper a command and the giant orb of light engulfs the entire meadow.


Lasting for the breath of a moment it dissipates to reveal a large labyrinth of mirror like ice and crystal, several feet on the ground with a mirror image, which is not solid, extending in to the sky (like lights sort of?) I then push out the remaining glow, tinted red, out from my zanp, creating a thick soupy fog of toxic se. The toxic se is its most pure form while in this state and has the potential to be lethal if inhaled. And the mirrors are not to be taken lightly either, if touched a single mirror can suck you in, freezing one solid. It is also best not to get caught when the maze is shifting, a cross reflection could result in ones soul becoming frozen or decapitation by way of arrant mirrors appearing at odd angles. It is an ever changing, ever moving maze, of which I have disappeared into awaiting the male Soul Reaper, my bankai finalizing it's look.

But his heart would be rushing amidst the fighting, so he would use up oxygen must faster. xD

True, but it's really a non-move move, we'll see what he comes up with. He's sneaky. >.>

Wait so you started over, yes? :P I like non-move moves cause they introduce a new aspect to the fight.

I don't know, he hasn't said if he wanted to make this a story fight yet. o.o

Indeed, I seem to always play it safe though even when I don't mean to. SO at least if he doesn't want to change the fight, it can still have potential to be an awesome spar.

As the dust settles and the final piece of marble falls to the ground. I straighten my stance, looking to my new friend.

"Am I from the Society?"

I reach and pull the folded white cloth from my waist. I shake it off and throw onto my shoulders. I turn my back slightly revealing the number 1 on my captains hiori.

"We've changed with me at it's head. We are not the same organization the command once was. You don't want me to get serious do you? I could reveal my bankai, but you may be crushed under the pressure."

The wind blew loose blades of grass across the meadow and a small fluffy of left over ice flew around. That when I felt the increase in her power begin. The energy flooded the field. Plates of ice shot out of the ground all around us, each reflecting whatever was in its view. I sense a strange energy coming from them and feel a slight pull at my soul when one of the mirrors begins to reflect my hand. I quickly move away and begin to avoid them from showing my image as they shift. As if that isn't enough to deal with a lethal gas begins to fill the field. I take a breath in as it approaches and hold it within my chest, only to let out one sentence.

"Break the gravity, tentai tsuki hon'yaku!!"

A black sphere forms around my body and begins spinning rapidly. The gas surrounds the orb but isn't able to penetrate through to me. The rotation of the orb send creates a wind tunnel and send the gas into the air and clears the field of it. The rotation increases and expands outwards, and fades from sight. Anything within a 20 yard radius of me is put under the pressure of five times normal gravity at it's furthest point becoming stronger the closer you are to me. I float in the air covered in a dark carbon fiber suit, with blades protruding from my arms. The suit helps augment my speed in the harsh gravity around me.

All the mirrors withing my bankai's orb are instantly crushed into the ground and shattered. I walk through the labrynth making quick work of each and every mirror as they enter my orb and since the farthest point from me is 20 yards I don't have to worry about contact with any of them or cross reflections.

"It's only a matter of time until your little pallor trick is rendered obsolete and I find you. Come out now, and join me. This is the last time I'll offer. I need your kind of power at my side for the goal to be obtainable. You won't need to join the rest of the reapers nor follow the societies rules. A power like yours is too unique and useful to just destroy."

As I get closer you should begin to feel the immense pressure of the gravity surrounding me.

Wrap up Part 1:

As the fog settles over the field and my bankai finalized its true form, a special kind of vortex formed a pocket of clear meadow around my immediate area. The clever little invention was designed mainly for reconnaissance and a type of defense but it serves it's purpose as a way to fully sense and see what's going on around me; including but not limited to changes in foreign energies. Before I touch down, the soul reaper answers my question by revealing that, not only is he a society reaper, but a captain! "Well hell, he was messing around, men."

From the ground now, he mentions that things have changed, but initially I felt he was just bluffing, a way to distract me perhaps. Nothing could change drastically in such short of time. As the fog finally settles I feel a drag on my energy, my bankai has never been held for this long, all the trial runs usually lasted only enough to determine the form and how the bankai wanted to naturally behave; this made my predicament all the more dangerous at this point as I felt the atmosphere suddenly shift and grow heavy. I could feel my labyrinth's energy drain as mirrors began to disappear from the field.

As the energy comes closer I feel the menacing pull threaten to pull everything to the ground; I fall to my knees, body exhausted but before he can get closer I retreat into a near by mirror, before it's obliterated. From in here I can hear what he had said before about change still rambling in my head, as my other thoughts of possible options thinned to nothing. Running had never been an option even though this was avoidable, and besides, I was far to drained. My voice resonates from the existing mirrors: "I may be young but I am not naive; you can't change people; especially these people, they've been corrupted by power. That's why being a soul reaper is such a dangerous responsibility."

With his last statement, something in my spirit stirred; be it exhaustion or some left over child like naivety, but for some reason I wanted to believe him. Within the realm of the mirrors it was possible to continue fighting, but I let the labyrinth release it's hold on this realm, while taking the last of the poisons with it. I am revealed to be standing not but two feet away at his right. Not sure if I only thought it or said it out loud I whisper to my self "I am not a coward.." as I stood their with my bankai still active.

I turn my head slowly, not looking at him face on as I said, almost too quite, that I would join him but in a voice on the cusps of a whisper though loud in my own ears "...but how can they be restored without the soul king?" As I turn to bow respectfully, he released his bankai to its original for along his arm; while my own zanp fell from my limp hand, as the pull of unconsciousness grew.

Her voice resonates all around me from the mirrors that are still standing and shifting around.

"I am the ultimate power of this era. No one in the seritai can hold a candle to me and if they try i will crush them beneath this power that you feel. You can not change people through soft hearted kindness, but instead you must do it with an iron fist. Power is what gets respect and thanks to my master I have what I need."

She appears two feet to my right and I can see the stress the gravity is putting on her body. That when I hear words barely leave her lips.

"No one said you were. You have proved here today that you aren't. Together let us harness this power you have and help me change this corrupt world we live in."

I reseal my zanpaktou and it takes it original form on my shoulder. I walk to her side and kneel down holding her up slightly.

"As far as the soul kings role......."

As I was about to finish my statement I feel her body go limp as her zanpaktou falls to rest on the soft, slushy grass. I gently lift her body and zanpaktou. I look to the sky and let out a deep sigh before I shunpo back to the calming atmosphere of the first squad barracks.

Hehe I liked this fight cuz you don;t need to be all end of the worldy in the story. It gives room for dani to do what she wants still,while painting a better picture of the soul society post yori.
