Even normal TV shows or something like that. If it's something you made, then yes, but it can't be a character from Naruto or have a Leaf Headband or something like that.

Well its copyright infringement but if you create something that is original and doesn't contain any trademark of a company , idea , show , etc is in terms legal. The reason you can't upload it cause the moderators won't let you due to possible law suit. It might not even be in their terms copyrighted but they try to avoid it.

The reason is every image that appears on this site having to do with Viz properties has to be approved by licensors.

You can post pictures like if theyre of yourself, or anything non-anime related. And of course, nothing dirty. Because that would just be wrong. Very wrong.
Its simple though, go to a free image hosting website, upload the picture from your computer, and it'll turn the picture into a URL. Take the URL and paste it into the little button on top of this post that looks like mountains and a moon. 4 spots left of the freaked out looking smiley guy.
