Which deaths left an impact on you?

As in you were either sad, happy, shocked, etc about it

The deaths for me were Haku's death, I was extremely depressed and became ill for a few weeks. I couldn't handle it.

Asuma's was pretty bad in my opinion too. I was just sad to see Shikamaru in pieces like that. It's not fair to him. ;_;

Hiruzen Sarutobi's death was also very well made as I was very moved...at least in the anime.

What about you?

Konan's death. She had her two best friends die in front of her, and she took the burden of Nagato and Yahiko's will to entrust the peace of the world. When stabbed by Madara, she gave all of the three wills to Naruto to carry on, obviously knowing her early ambition to carry this would be short lived.

She was loyal, trustworthy and kind. For her to die against Izanagi was harsh. She stood strong right ot the end and should have won.

That and Asuma's death. I wasn't expecting him to die then.

I loved it when Pain ripped Shizune's soul out. I'm like "whoa, that happened pretty quick"

Jiraiya's death was unexpected( not really, by the way he was talking at the end).

But still, I really thought something was gonna happen, that could have made jiraiya win the fight or get away at least................too bad he didin't.

I agree with Jiraya's death being the most impactful for me. The dude was a boss and deserved to have more fights shown.

I wish that he could somehow stay involved with the story besides being referenced as a great teacher or any little things like that.

Kishi almost guaranteed that he's not coming back via Edo Tensei with the way Kabuto's and Madara's conversation went.

Jiraiya's death impacted me the hardest just because it was completely unneccesary. He could have easily avoided death, retreated. Then came back later when he was healed and ready.

Well, besides Jiraiya, I was kind of impacted by Hayate's death. He was nice and cool for as long as he was there *sniff*. And also probably because it was one of the first deaths in the series (I think the first after Zabuza and Haku?). And it was very sudden and unfortunate.

Kisame killed himself. Plus you left out Aoba and Yamato.

I agree with everyones but these 3 were definitely the ones that hit home for me.

I cried during Haku's death. That's what got me hooked on Naruto, especially the music. Man! It really got to me.
Azuma's really got to me too. Especially the beginning of that one episode where Shikamaru tells Kurenai

These two deaths were the only ones that surprised me I guess.

And lastly I got teary during the hokage's funeral.
Basically I'm just a big cry baby. But only for naruto.

Hayate - He was the first casualty of the Hidden Leaf as far as I can remember. It changed the mood of the whole series for me, made it more serious.
Sarutobi - It was impactful because he was the Hokage, but we saw it coming as they stood there for ten chapters before it actually happened and I was thinking "Die already!" by the end of it.
Asuma - He just shouldn't be dead! Watching the other characters react was the worst.
Jaraiya - Same as above, but starting with the scene with Lady Tsunade right before he left. I was so sad to see him go because of what he was to her and Naruto.
Kakashi - I'm not sure which was worse, his death or his resurrection!
Yamato - OK, we really don't know if he is dead yet or not. But his capture and merging with that statue was so sudden and we have no closure (life story, flashbacks, etc.) like when the other characters die. (I hope that means there's still a possibility of rescue!)

The first sad death for me was when Hiruzen died mostly because I was younger and Naruto was my life lol It still is but not as much.
Asumas death really got to me because he has always been one of my favorite characters and I loved how he was so laid back but was really smart and strategic and when it came down to it he wasn't going down without a fight and then it was just unexpected and then seeing Shikimaru so upset didn't help either.
Itachi's death killed me. I knew he wasnt going to kill Sasuke and in the end he was going to die but still. He was one of my favorite characters and just everything about him was so awesome. And despite the fact that everything in his life went wrong he still wanted to protect his brother. He carried all that hatred and all those burdens for Sasuke. He was one of the bravest and greatest characters of all time.
Jiraiya's death was also pretty bad for me. Jiraiya is also one of my favorites and I didnt think all 6 paths of Pain were going to show up and take him on. He still managed to take down three of them and learned there secret from one battle. He was a really strong character both physically and mentally and was respected by alot of people. I figured he was going to barely escape with his life but no. But hey, it took all the Pains to take down Pervy Sage so he has my props. He was just so epic.

When Asuma died I just stopped reading Naruto for about a month.

When Jairaia died I was like,";);););) JUST GOT REAL."

When Yamato was merged with the statued (Basically getting killed) I almost started crying. HE WAS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!!!

Heh: Does when I totally believed Sasuke was dead in their first battle against Zabuza and Haku count?

What I totally forgot Hayate! He died? Oh yeah! I remember that really scared me!

The fact that Kishi made him Kamikaze fail was the worst!

Tobi didnt even get any good info from that!
He just mass produced Zetsu's
And what the hell have they done???

Least impactful death to the series, most impactful death to me...

The hardest to deal with personally was Jiraiya, second was Kimimaro.

It was also left me quite angry, as the only battle where he displayed his true power he was murdered.

I would have liked to see him use a bit more of his jutsu, I'm sure he had more. His ninjutsu style was one of the most interesting battles.

It's strange, I felt nothing for any of the fallen Akatsuki members. A little for Negato, probably just because they were all pissy and heartless.

Jiraiya's death was extremely sad considering he was my favorite. Also sad about Oro's death. Still feel he was the best villian.
