It's pretty fun, a little repetitive and easy though.

This is the type of game that leaves me with no hope for video games.
Stop trying to make games like movies or books. If you were a good storyteller you would have a different career. Why not try to actually concentrate on making a game for once instead of "mood."

No doubt the so-called gamers will love this and it will sell some, but no one will remember this even two years from now. Heavy Rain redux. Bleh.

I was too little to enjoy the old games for very long,but my dad gave me some older versions of nintendo when I was like 5. Those games didn't cater to the "casual gamers", they were the good ol social life killers that gave you the finger if you weren't good enough.

You are nuts. Contra III is the wheelhouse for the so-called "causal" gamers.
They like games that are pick up and play.

If Contra was made today it would have nine hours of cut scenes in it and two hours of game play that you would never want to play through more than once. That is to say, two hours of game play is great if you want to play it over and over again 20 twenty times.

I blame the gamerz. It is their fault.

Nintendo sucks.

To be honest, Nintendo's only good for a FEW games: Clash of Ninja series, Melee, Brawl, Pokemon, and Mario. All others pretty much suck. And LA Noire looks pretty good. I want to rent it before I buy it.
