Welcome, to the week of taboo.
This game is pretty simple to understand.
The whole idea here, is that you will type out three sentences with at least six words in them.
But, it's not just that easy.
You will be given a letter. This letter you cannot use anywhere in any of the sentences.
So, if I said you couldn't use the letter u. This could be one of your sentences.
1. The Cat in the Hat is a great book.
Simple enough, yes? Well guess what, spelling and grammar counts. If you can't spell or structure a proper sentence, it goes against you, as a strike.
Each participant has three strikes. Use up the three strikes and you're out. At that point, the opponent wins.
If you and your opponent get to three strikes on the same try, we go to sudden death, which I'll explain if it comes down to that.
How you can get a strike:
1. Using one of the letters in your sentences. In fact, you lose a point for each instance of using a letter that is tabooed.
2. Spelling, bad grammar. Decent grammar is fine, bad grammar is not.
3. Not responding in 48 hours.
4. Stealing one of your opponent's sentences word for word. (First offense, two strikes. Second offense, DQ.)
Now, you both get the same letter. So, here it is:
Q
Let's see how you fair in Taboo.
