I was on a manga site browsing through the chapter,then I found chapter 0.Has anyone read this?
It's about Naruto assigned a mission to visit this artist.Many people wanted the painting of the artist.While Naruto was sleeping,somebody shot and killed the artist.They also took their paintings.When Naruto woke up the police arrested Naruto for murder,because the killer hid the gun in his bag.Later someone convinced the police to let Naruto go.Naruto knew who the killer was and went to his house.He found the stolen painting.The killer tried to shoot Naruto,but there was no effect on him,he use his kyuubi to scare the killer.The killer rushed outside saying he was a monster.Police didn't really believe him,and Naruto said he's the killer.In a Game Pro interview,Masashi said there would be no guns on Naruto.

I read that one. It was ok. I don't know about the whole "no gun" thing. Maybe he meant after Chapter 0. Or he meant in the Anime series.

Naruto Chapter 0 is a short story Kishimoto created before the Naruto series using Naruto as the main character for a contest(?) of some sort. Kishimoto took a liking to Naruto and has now become the ninja we know and love.

That was a short story Kishimoto wrote for Weekly Shonen Jump. It was so popular that Kishimoto was offered a job writing a series based on it, the series we know today. That short story is not an official part of the Naruto storyline, thus the guns. I don't know why that site was calling it chapter 0. It's most definitly not.

I read it online as well. It also says Chapter 0 where I read it but then it also says it's a pilot.

It looked like something that would be in the funny papers to me. It didn't give much background on the characters it was more of the hit the ground running type imo.

I read the pilot, its not that good, he changed a lot, except the tailed beasts, and the third hokage, I am glad he did that.

It's called Chapter 0 because it was the first Naruto Related thing Kishimto wrote. It had to do with a young fox boy, and he was able to transform (I'm pulling from memory, read it a long time ago) and he used his skills to prove his innocence,

For people saying it is not Chapter 0, it pretty much is, since it was the basis for the series we know today, and often, 0 in a series is used for a "prequel" type thing that started the series, especially when there are some changes.

It wasn't that bad, but I'd take jitsu over guns any day. Too bad naruto can't control the kyuubi as well in Shippuden as he did in "chapter 0".
